What is our role?

Is it to pray for the salvation of the people around us?

Is it to witness the fullness of Christ in our lives/vessel?

Is our role to be fulfilling the tasks God has laid on our hearts for Him?

Our role is to worship God in whatever circumstances we may find ourselves in?

What do you think.

All good things. Dispensationally the answer is that the Gospel rather than the law - as the Reformed constituency might claim - is the rule of the believer's life. Otherwise, passages such as Romans 14 would mean little, IMHO.

“He has showed you, O man, what is good.
And what does the LORD require of you?
  • To act justly and
  • to love mercy and
  • to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8 NIV
"And [Jesus] said to them,
'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
He who believes and is baptized will be saved;
but he who does not believe will be condemned.

And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name

  • they will cast out demons;
  • they will speak with new tongues;
  • they will take up serpents; and
  • if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them;
  • they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.' ” Mark 16:15-18 NKJV

According to scripture, our role is set out in scripture and that is to go into all the world and make DISCIPLES. Not Christians as we tend to.

What is our role?

* Become Gods Inheritance through Conversion IN Christ.
* Glorify the Lord God by our works.

Is it to pray for the salvation of the people around us?

Yes. Pray for the Conversion of all people, that Gods Inheritance may be increased.

Is it to witness the fullness of Christ in our lives/vessel?

Yes. For they then may also seek Christ to be in His life and Christ in their spirit.

Is our role to be fulfilling the tasks God has laid on our hearts for Him?

Yes. Works, to accredit Glory to His Name.

Our role is to worship God in whatever circumstances we may find ourselves in?

Yes. Praise, Thanks, Worship for all He does for us (that we Like), and every Hardship we endure that He is our Comforter.

What do you think.

Think that, the Lord God Almighty, is He who IS Perfect, Loves His Creations, and Makes (perfected) His Creations "who Freely Choose" to Love Him, With Him Forever in a Perfected Estate.

Glory to God,
Taken

yes! No matter what age or ewra or no matter what is happening in the world, our life as followers of Jesus and our "job" always is the same, as you wisely pointed out!
