This has made me a better person and is useful in all kinds of areas of life.

A piece of advise I received from a coach (who’s name I’ve forgotten) in the days of my youth - “Get strong (or maybe it was “stronger”) in every aspect of your life.”

What a fun thread. The best advice I've received is to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on my own understanding, because He directs the steps I cannot see. Proverbs 3:5-6 has carried me through seasons when the path made no sense. Keep walking in that grace, He is faithful to guide you. Bible Verses for Purpose When You Feel Lost

Good question, and the replies here are a reminder of how much timely advice can shape a life. One piece worth passing on is simple: trust God more than feelings in the moment, pray before reacting, and listen well before speaking. Advice like that protects relationships and keeps decisions steady. Grateful for the parents, coaches, friends, and mentors who speak truth kindly, especially when it is needed most and heard later.
