I'm sorry. Did you answer the question of where one can find the word "light" in Ephesians 6?
Even if the word "light" was written into every verse of the bible you would still find a way to not understand. Why does the entire life of your inner man depend on Eph. 6...as opposed to say Rom. 6 for another outer man speculator here?

Why can't "put on the armour of light" have any value whatsoever? Is it because it is found in Romans 13. Is 13 an unlucky number for you?

Why can't the bible be used to interpret itself. Unless you have a temporally carnal understanding of the armour of God...like a physical armour? A psychological pretend armour??? If you were honest, you would at least have an honest argument. But we are talking about how the ego defends itself against anything that is actually life-giving. So then remain in the deadness of your beliefs. There must be those who stand against the truth. Why not you???

For others I write...

If the bible said "we are to walk on water as Jesus walked on water"...no one would think anything other than a miraculous walk.

But it seems we can write off as a religious formula to "be in the light as He is in the light"...or to abide in Him to "walk even as He walked."

The bible is written so that it can only be understood by the inner man of faith. The outer man must deny, twist and obscure the true meaning of the text in a bid for self-preservation. I am constantly in awe of how God can hide the truth so efficiently within the plain text of scripture.

No one is falling for this charlatan except for @stunnedbygrace and another poor soul.
Very few will "fall for" the truth. Very very few will be able to walk the narrow path. One must lose one's life to find it. But the modern gospel just adds one more "After-life" advantage to the "American dream."

Dream on....

You do not get it

Your op was about the armor of God. Not the armor of light. If you made the op about the armor of light. You would not be stuck trying to explain yourself

When are you going to lose your life and recieve the blood of christ. Which will cleanse you from all sin. And grant you eternal life?

Where do you think the armour of light comes from? And in what does the armour of God consist? Your religious mind is unable to see the meaning behind the words of the bible. It's all just dead religion to you. Fully powerless and unable to produce a living faith...just dead beliefs.

To the others...If the armour of light we are to put on is from God...then what would the whole armour of God we are to put on be made of?

Any logic out there that has not yet been subverted by religious dogmatism??

Even a 6 year old would understand what a "walk in the light"

According to your Thread and post, you don't understand it, and im almost positive you are at least 6 yrs old.

Look at your half quote that should be the entire quote, as in that case, you would not be able to try to teach "walk in the light" as a self righteous work.
See, people that are very legalistic, us part of a verse that they can manipulate.
Avoid those people's theology in the future, Episkopos.
(Calvin, for example).

So, it says "walk in the light AS HE (Jesus/God) is in the Light".. 1 John 1:7

That's a little different then "try to be good, try to be righteous, try to work at it".

See, to walk in the light as THEY are in the Light is a Spiritual reality related to being in the KOG, as "ONE with God", "made righteous", "in Christ".
So that is all centered around the "renewed mind".

Although your perceptions are usually out in left field, you are right about my age. I am beyond the mentality you speak of.

Anything miraculous it twisted by you as a "self-righteous work" because that is how you receive everything in your outer man.

Very theoritical...but when I try explaining to you what is beyond a religious speculation...you balk and react in a very predictable manner.

Christianity is all about the Spiritual, as related to Holiness.

God came here, died on the Cross, and provided "Christ's Righteousness"" as The Gift of Salvation.
That is literally miraculous.

So, when you teach..>"doing righteousness" as righteousness, vs, "imputed righteousness" as "The Gift of Righteousness", you are denying what God on the Cross died to provide for free.

John 3:16
2 Corinthians 5:19

Everything that God requires that we become so that God can accept us...., He had to provide it.

We are this..>>"all have sinned"....so, we can't offer God what He requires.....

Salvation is All of God. because its God on the Cross who is providing it, Episkopos.

1st, I asked where is the word "light" in Ephesians 6 that you said was there in the OP.

2nd, I asked if I missed your answer.

Everyone can see that you don't answer questions. This is because you are scam artist with a giant ego, too good to lower yourself to the 'spiritually lesser' than you. You can talk about a "higher walk" all you want. Truth is, you are nothing like Christ.

What you deny is the reality of all of the above you have cited. You have adopted a name it claim it posturing that see you claiming those things as yours...without the victorious power of a resurrection life....which you deny.

You deny the miraculous nature of the walk that is IN Him. In fact, you deny it vehemently.

The armor of light is God.

Once again you put the cart before the horse. You’re too busy trying to clean yourself You go all over the place. Then when someone calls you out you get mad.

Humble yourself for once.. or is that possible?

He does not deny that. He has been crucified with Christ. Its a done deal.

You’re trying to crucify yourself. Hence you deny the true ressurection life

You deny the miraculous nature of the walk that is IN Him. In fact, you deny it vehemently.

Actually, i just explained that walking in the Spirit, is to be.... "in the Light as HE/God/Christ is in the Light".

So, the verse is speaking about THEIR Light....and how the Born again are in there..., in that Kingdom of God.

How does the born again get into "God is A Spirit" "God exists in Light"..."Jesus is the LIGHT of the World". ???

A.) By being BORN AGAIN Into it...

So, all the born again, "have been translated FROM Darkness.........TO Light".

See that Episkopos? That is ALL the Born again..

But, to walk in that place of Spirituality, as discipleship..... is not related to self effort, trying to be good, trying to be like Christ, getting water baptized, preaching Calvinism, or anything else you try to DO".

Walking in the light is not about doing..
Its about Believing, according to "the knowledge of God", so that this Light of revelation that IS the LIGHT, becomes the Light that is IN you.

When this Light is not Theologically or Spiritually correct, its STILL LIGHT< but its darkness.

And the way you find these dark lights is to find out of they believe they can lose their salvation.
If so, then you've found one of these...

Jesus Said.... of that DARK light,..(the verse below).. and one of the darkest lights who ever lived and breathed was John Calvin.
His theology is like a Black HOLE and when you fall into that, you'll keep falling and falling.

New King James Version
Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not DARKNESS

American Standard Version
Look therefore whether the light that is in thee be not DARKNESS.

Berean Study Bible
Be careful, then, that the light within you is not DARKNESS.

World English Bible
Therefore see whether the light that is in you isn't DARKNESS.

Young's Literal Translation
take heed, then, lest the light that is in thee be DARKNESS;

There's that religious formulaic presumption again. It's like the bible has never been read by so many here.

When you say the "born again" or as others put it "all believers"...does that mean the wise or the foolish virgins? Does that mean the vessels of honour or dishonour? Does that include the ones who say Lord, Lord to Jesus? Does that include the Laodiceans who are going to be spit out of Jesus' mouth? Does that include the uncrucified assumers of great things for themselves (with their outer man is full bloom)?

Being born again is the same as being a Jew in the wilderness. read your bible. Many were cut off from among them. And many modern believers will also be cut off. people have no more humility or fear of the Lord. They assume they will have an easy judgment after an easy life.

Born again is what Jesus said it is in John 3.

Why do you refuse to look at John 3.. and then try to tell everyone they are wrong.

If you can;t listen to the words of jesus on the subject.. Then you can;t hear anything but what you want to see

Where? Where does it say this?

Much love!
How much of the bible have you read? The bible literacy here is amazingly lacking.

Read Hebrews 4 (and how the gospel was also preached to the Israelites in the wilderness), read Romans 11 (about we also being cut off as they were). I have only posted this dozens of times.

Did the Israelites not drink from the spiritual rock which is Christ ((1 Corinthians 10:4). ???

yeah, Lets ignore john 3. Where Jesus tells us all about it

Of course you ignore it. Because it proves you are in error..
