Satan = accuser.

Not some horned figure running around trying to tempt you.

It is a willful person whom is against the things of God, and the Pharisees were "god of the world" of their "age" they lived in by the use of the Mosaic law and worshiping it, and replacing God himself.....

People dont get this though or they dont like it, and typically people love the idea of satan so much as a horned demon guy they want to keep them in their heads and hearts all the time....

The Pharisees were satan because they opposed the will of God....

Idk how hard that is to get.

Like you, I don't believe in the caricature devil/Satan as a horned figure in a red cloak with a tail and a huge pitch-fork. The bible says nothing about such a figure. But neither does the bible teach that Satan is a mere human being. Revelation makes clear that the devil and Satan and the serpent are the same being:

Re 12:9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Re 20:2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;

The serpent of old was the one who tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden. It wasn't a mere human being.

All satan is an accuser. That's what the Religous leaders of law, went around doing to Jesus. Accusing him, for doing the will of God. They said "who does he think he is God? Only God can forgives sins."

All satan is an accuser.
Yes, Satan is called the accuser:

“Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.” (Re 12:10 NKJV)

But he is the same being as the devil, and the serpent which tempted Eve, as I showed in those verses I quoted in my earlier post.

Yes, I hadn't forgotten that, or that Herod killed James, or that the Jews stoned Stephen to death, or that Paul was persecuted. However, the bible doesn't say that Satan/the devil is the Pharisees, or Herod, or the Paul's persecutors.

Seems like the Spirit could tell you, rather than your flesh.

Thats why I don't see Satan as viable today,

Satan was done away with, and the false prophet and the beast according to the bible.

Though for whatever reason people dont believe that much of the bible has taken place.

That's your own choice no one elses.

I wanna say though darkness continues to exist and we as human beings knowing good and evil, know how to cause destruction.

I also don’t have humanitarian principles instilled in me, I don’t think Jesus was a humanitarian either.

You mean you think the flesh is telling me that Herod, the Pharisees and Paul's persecutors are not Satan? No. I don't find such an idea in God's word; that is why I don't believe it.

Satan offers all the kingdoms to Yeshua.

(Satan was the religious Jewish Pharisees, that would have given all to him if he would have just bowed down and worshiped them.)

The biblical verses that describe Satan offering Jesus the kingdoms of the world are found in Matthew 4:8-10 and Luke 4:5-7. In these passages, Satan shows Jesus all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, offering them to Jesus if he will worship Satan.

Musings so far: What is your take? Satan was the Religious Zealots of that time. (collection of quotes of musings concerning the topic for your advantage.)
If you study most of the Scripture (NT) dealing with the word satan it's more than not referring to the religious leaders of that time.

@MatthewG an easy to interpret verse that shows this is Revelation 2:9 "I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan."

Synagogue tells the reader the adversary is Jewish!...and not a fallen angel

Sure, if they are being a negative adversary like Peter was to Christ.
But I'm not Jesus, and I think saying that to someone makes me look dumber than Satan.
Because I don't think that when I talk like this, people will eventually understand the meaning of these words like Peter.
@soberxp but what if you need a good satan?
I met the real Satan, and I couldn't understand what it was saying, and it sounded like a giant serpent Flicking its forked tongue with a soft 'th-th-th' , It's a bit like The straw makes that awful slurping sound as it struggles to pull up the last drops, only to come up empty.

It's amazing how powerful the mind is to deceive.
