Good to see you. Glad you are having summer, I still can't call this summer.
But at least it isn't snow, neither is it smoke...so there is always something to be thankful for :)

Me too. No colds or flu for three winters, then bam, June comes and we both got sick ...Dave had it first, then he passed it on to me.

Been raining all morning but stopped early afternoon.

Sun today...but still cool. The forrest's are burning up north, but the rain here must have kept the smoke away. Poor things...THEY could use the heavy rain that we have had.

There are high temps forecast for later in the week and I don't like high temps. I'm ok up to about 24C but I I don't like anything higher than that. I found it hard to cope last year with the prolonged heatwave so I have just had a fan delivered so I will be able to keep cool.

Yes there was a yellow alert as the forecast was for very heavy rain and flooding but we haven't seen anything like that.

It's been lovely today, just perfect for me but hot weather - which I don't like - is forecast for the end of the week. So I will get to use my new pedestal fan. I also have Spanish fans which I used to take to work with me but they are only effective for short periods. My electric one is adjustable and oscillates so I should be ok and not like a wet lettuce when the heat comes.

It's a lovely summer's day with clear blue skies and bright, warm sunshine. We are going out early before it gets too hot. I may need my fan later, already at 9:30 the front room is too warm.
