You shall keep it until the fourteenth day of this month, and then, with the whole assembly of Israel present, it shall be slaughtered during the evening twilight.
Yes indeed.
And He offered Himself as the Lamb of God at the beginning of Nisan 14th, in the evening, as proscribed by Moses,
(when the hour had come)
in front of the whole house of Israel,
(the twelve apostles)
the Lamb was slaughtered:
(He took bread, broke it, saying 'this is My body, given up for you')
Now this sacrifice He commands the apostles to continue to offer as His memorial.
(do this in memory of me)
giving us the fulfillment of Malachi 1:11
(from east to west a pure offering is made, and great is His name among the nations')
It is this sacrifice to which Paul refers when he says:
For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord until he comes.
(1cor11:26)
and again here:
O stupid Galatians! Who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified
