I remember when Uncle Sam flew me on a chartered commercial jet from California to Saigon in 1964. When we took off from California it was dark. At a brief re-fueling stop in Hawaii it was dark. When we landed at Manila it was still dark. The difficulty was of course that we were slowing down the arrival of the dawn [sunrise] travelling at a few hundred miles per hour. It was likely the longest night of my life [if darkness is night]. In Manila we refueled again but had to wait a couple more hours until daylight as we were not allowed to land in Saigon in the darkness. When we were landing at Saigon, that big jet liner nose dived sharply to land instead of taking the long slow incline we usually experience at peaceful domestic airports.

Darkness hmmm?

not at all, didn't i say it wasn't "bad?"and if i called it horrible anyway, it would only be the same thing; my opinion. A marker of me.

more like a psych method, leave something unstated to compel a reader to fill in the blank, that kind of thing. Iow for all i know Scotty did beam Him down, ok, there isn't a wrong answer for that.
I don't think Scotty beamed him down.
I think he walked through the wall.

Suppose you have a flight between Paris and New York, but the US hasn't switched off of daylight savings time yet, how long is your flight?

Trick question, you missed the flight because daylight savings is stupid.
As long as if the US had switched off dst.
The flight time doesn't change.
7 to 8 hours, depending.

well, don't take this wrong, but believers largely seek miracles that they can witness with two eyes, for one, and imo a point there is that a spiritual lesson can be overlooked by doing this with Scripture, if this turns into an unshakable "belief" that is never re-contemplated, and cannot be re-considered in light of new information.

Similar to me to how ppl insist that Paul said "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord," when that cannot be Quoted

ha if Scotty is an analog for God then "beaming Christ down" is actually the more viable option imo, we even have Precedent for that right :)
You put God on your level.
You think God has nothing better to do than beam himself down?
He just has to think it and he is there.
But on a human level, science has theorized that if you could line up the molecules in your body with the molecules in the wall, there would be no problem walking through walls.
That's seems a more viable option to me.

hmm, i would deem that "superhuman," at least right now, but i also see that being completely attainable, if matter is so much empty space, ya

Jesus was born, not beamed down.
The second time around He'll be beamed down!

Did you hear the latest scientific theory??
Something could come from nothing!!
Just ask proof. Google. Or YouTube.
I don't trust scientists much.

hmm, that perspective verifies God imo, so i guess we would have to reflect more on the proposition.
The universe "started" as Hydrogen, which is so close to nothing so as to be virtually indiscernible
the Big Bang = "something from nothing," right

No bb
Scientists always said something CANNOT come from nothing, so they claimed the universe always existed.

Now, with the big bang pretty much proven, it does indicate a cause,,,God.
Well, scientists cannot have that!!

So now there's the idea floating around that something CAN come from nothing.
Pretty preposterous.

not really
God had to first create the gasses if there was a big bang, which he could easily do.
So nothing here proves anything.

Ooooh. I'm not explaining myself correctly.
Do you suppose it's because I don't speak English correctly??
