Both! The Word became flesh.

How many web sites are you playing your game on? (http://www.christian...2/#post59386559)

Mr Tom,

I want you to know(this is why I am telling you)

Everywhere I posted

The Lord and those in Heaven

saw what I posted.

And they also saw

the answers and responses to what I posted.

And how I was received and was treated.

The game I am playing

is the game of Eternal Life.

There are winners and losers.

I never lose.

Never Ever.

Ps. Do not quit your day job.

A bit off topic, but in all honesty, I posted similar threads on more than one Christian forum, or at least similar subjects because one may not respond and others do.

I think a spammer or troll is just out to get a rise and oftentimes they start something and then sit back and watch the fireworks between other members. Their goal is just to disrupt the forum.

However, there are those who just like to debate their view, or in a more negative connotation, possibly argue. In my case, some Christian forums banned me for being a "troll" (because they basically did not like what I said, even if backed up by scripture and held to my guns) and others think highly of me and I'm friends with the moderators. But then again, those who banned me are Microsofters and I'm Linux and maybe they were jealous because I could post safely on a site that once had a virus--- who knows?). I'd love to throw that in faces of some of the sites that banned me. So which am I? Maybe a part-time troll?

Tom is one of the big whigs here, so don't hold your breath on staying.

(null)

They told the doors that they could not use the lyrics...get higher, In the song Light my fire.

But Jim Morrison did it anyway.

After the show they can to Jim and told him they would never ever be allowed back on the Ed Sullivan show.

Jim replied.

We already have.

Translation:

When I am gone

all that I was going to do

has already been done.

Maybe you should not go into any rooms by yourself.

Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;

Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

AWord2theWise4u brought up a very important issue (not just a 'question', an ISSUE).

As far as REAL truth about scripture, and REAL truth about GOD (yes, there is a difference, for one, scripture cannot love you back.....COMMON SENSE).

You see, you can't just LIKE the truth, God says that you have LOVE the truth IN ORDER TO BE SAVED (oh, I see, you are relying on the common teachings of something called "Christianity").

Instead of 'off topic complaints' about spam and other web use, if you remain on topic and only address the original issue in this thread, you will actually be ADDRESSING TRUTH.

"Christianity" has to get it's act together and start exploring what we've been taught/fed (and agree to stop all this bickering and divisiveness).

2 Thessalonians 2:10 "because they refused to love the truth and so be saved".

Colossians 1:5 "the word of the truth, the gospel".

Ephesians 1:13 "the gospel of your salvation".

We are to use properly the "word of truth" ("rightly handle").

Jesus did not give us the 66 books of text. No doubt He knew there would be "text"/scriptures, but it is the GOSPEL ....."Christ and Him crucified", the "DOCTRINE OF CHRIST" (the one and only 'SIN SACRIFICE') that we are warned not to discard/ignore.

2 John 1:9 "Any one who goes ahead and does not abide in the DOCTRINE OF CHRIST does not have God; he who abides in the doctrine has both the Father and the Son".

The WORD OF GOD became flesh and hung on the cross.

The "word of truth" (scripture) is what we read (and all spiritual authority in heaven and earth has been given to the one who hung on the cross and became the new worship temple in those three days (we each are the INNER temple).

Prideful scholars will find REAL TRUTH uncomfortable because it destroys their empire of pride 'comfort zone', yet all believers must learn to LOVE the truth.

Generations of believers have learned CENTURIES of 'perditious beliefs' since the Council of Jerusalem. We, the modern "church", are the outcome/result.....the "SON OF PERDITION" because we'd rather not shed the status quo traditional teachings (scholarly pride).

We've ENJOYED learning about the 3 aspects/manifestations of God Father, Son, Spirit) as though it is MAN (the 6th day creation) that should be glorified instead of GOD ONLY (3 sixes).

Hello thisistheendtimes

I agree that Christians need to stop simply liking truth and start loving it. As soon as we realize that the only important truth is love, we will give ourselves over to love, which is the true gospel. Mistaking doctrine for the gospel is our number one problem as followers of Christ. It is true that doctrine is important, but it is not the gospel - the gospel is loving God and our neighbors through service. The danger of replacing doctrine with love is a puffing up of the very ego we are told to overthrow by Paul. Loving doctrine, like the Trinity is really loving OUR UNDERSTANDING of the Trinity - which is separate from actually loving God. As true as the doctrine is, we are always going to be lacking in our understanding of it until we reach Heaven. Doctrine - true doctrine can be a real quagmire if it remains simply an exercise in being right. Loving everyone like we used to love ourselves is the obvious secret to sanctification.

I'm 57 years old and have suffered 51 years of suicidal depression (when all of my dysfunctional family finally passed away), but in all my wildest and most insane days, I never went around showing love to myself (I was always mentally stable),....I simply "AM" (I love other people THE SAME as I love myself...ZIP!, so I NEVER loved people MORE THAN I love myself)......this is the real meaning of "Love your neighbor as yourself".

I will treat no one as an icon/primadonna, I am not inferior to anyone, and I answer to no man.

I am humble to my CREATOR ONLY and my arrogance is GENUINE and well placed in me (not based on "bigshot" pride like so many).

Throughout the centuries, "Christianity" has not just taught INSIDIOUS lies and faulty misunderstandings, but also many demeaning, dehumanizing, and demoralizing attitudes (such as the need to be "commanded" and ordered to do "goodness", we can't actually BE "GOOD"/perfect...no one is good except GOD ONLY, "good" is an ABSOLUTE, it means PERFECT).

Before I knew Jesus, I was a son of man, but when I came to have a personal LOVE relationship with , I became a son of the most high (son of God).....it is the wise and courageous that glorify The Lord.

Deuteronomy 32:8

"when he separated the sons of men, he fixed the bounds of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God".

Psalm 53:2
"God looks down from heaven upon the sons of men to see if there are any that are wise, that seek after God".

Psalm 82:6 (and John 10:34)
"I say, "You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you".

We have been taught to think of ourselves as insignificant, putrid, spiritual weaklings (as per satan's wishes), but we need not fear satan nor can we be forced to embrace his kingdom of lawlessness. The man of lawlessness is being restrained by the union of our spirit with God's spirit....

2 Thessalonians 2:6
"And you know WHAT is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time".

On this earth, the most intense LOVE relationship is with 'OUR SPOUSE', but SPIRITUAL love ("PERFECT" love) is for GOD ONLY (fear is only the BEGINNING of true wisdom, but when an unbeliever comes to know God,....love should become "perfect love").

In Mark 12:30, we are told not to leave any room in us for fear (our only attitude toward Abba Father should be LOVE).....SPIRITUAL love should be "perfect love" (a "more excellent" devotion based on "the greatest of these", 1 Corinthians 13:13).

"And now let me show you a more excellent way" (1 Corin. 12:31).

1 John 4:18 "perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and he who fears is not perfected in love".

God gave the gift of salvation GRACIOUSLY (it is a FREE gift, a GENUINE "GIFT"). Many people will 'give a gift' IMPERIALISTICALLY expecting/demanding something in return, but don't be grateful to an imperialist.

The Lord wants us to ENJOY life (be selfish and do things for YOUR enjoyment of life, don't be a doormat to others, it is GOD you should worship and love/glorify).

Luke 6:35....(whose kindness will you seek?)
"and you will be sons of the Most High; for he is kind to the ungrateful and the selfish".

The Father didn't send His Son to crush mankind (the sons of men), He sent Jesus to reconcile us to Himself (regain us) and to inform us how to be more fully human (so a son of GOD may be complete/whole/wholly being reconnected with the creator).

Contrary to all that has been taught/fed to us, God does not want to be "master" of us...

Titus 1:8 "a lover of goodness, master of himself"...(and a "lover of goodness" does not need "commands" in order that "goodness" happen).

We were taught all wrong (except for the "doctrine of Christ").

Satan knows that in the ways of human nature, we are unruly/lawless (as all mischeivous children are) and promotes the attitude that we should FEAR/resent The Lord's correction (when and IF THE LORD decides that a son of God is SERIOUSLY mistaken in behavior).......God is a REWARDER, not a "punisher", have "FAITH FOR faith"....

Romans 1:17 "the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith".

If you truly intend to "draw near" to God with a LOVE DEVOTION, then you must have faith that....

He exists..AND

that HE IS A REWARDER, not a punisher.

Hebrews 11:6
"For whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him".

The misteachings we've received since the Council of Jerusalem were not all so intentionally wicked, but were careless nonetheless (human nature is human folly/foolishness). Many misunderstandings are simple "iniquities"/failures, yet they cause "evil"/imperfection. It is only the WICKED that are in rebellion and are CONTRARY TO The Lord's will/desire.

As long as we are our true "SELF" (knowing AND being "self"), we will be able to relate to "I am who I am" (Exodus 3:14 and 15), and as a "lover of goodness" we will also be able to IDENTIFY with His Spirit...."His spirit in the inner man"...

Ephesians 3:16 "strengthened with might through his Spirit in the inner man".

Romans 8:16[/size] "it is the Spirit himself bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God".

I no longer have a simple "faith TOWARD God" (I have faith TOWARD the laws of physics, but I don't LOVE THEM).
My ONLY "foundation" is JESUS, I no longer have "repentance" as a foundation, nor do I place any trust in my deeds/effort (they are DEAD, if I trusted in MY WORKS,...or if I gave SPIRITUAL LOVE to the brethren in Christ, I would have an APOSTATE DEVOTION).....even still,.....God is not so unjust....

"as to overlook your work and the love which you showed for his sake in serving the saints" (Hebrews 6:10).

The doctrine of Christ has been DONE/finalized and accomplished, now our devotion should go beyond that to become a PERFECT love devotion and "draw near" to Him (mature devotion).

Hebrews 6:1
"Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God.

If you quit having JESUS as your only foundation, then it becomes impossible to return to spiritual cleanliness/purity.....if we return ourselves to the repentance foundation (the law of sin and death) after receiving knowledge of the truth (the final/eternal SIN SACRIFICE "doctrine of Christ"), then we "DELIBERATELY" make ourselves a transgressor under the law of sin and death...

Hebrews 10:26
"For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins".
Verses from RSV. Scripture addresses the people of 2,000 years ago, God's spirit addresses us (the "TRUE worshiper").

Um...not sure what you are trying to say or if you are addressing my post.

One thing I can say is that depression is anger turned inward - it is the definition of self-focus! God created us to focus on Him and our neighbors. I am glad that you are no longer depressed - I have suffered with it, myself and it really is miserable.
