Who A Real Sheep To Deal With Any Bible Verse Correctly?

    Philosopher when it doesn't conflict scripture in this book anywhere.Otherwise I go by the book all the way.2 Peter 1:20-21.Anyway are we equally yoked believers or not ?2 Corinthians 6:14-17 .
    The Bible talks about being unequally yoked with unbelievers. I don't see where equally or unequally yoked is in any other context in the Bible.

    Do you really beleive the whole Bible of those 15 or so verses?

    The reason that Jesus chose fishermen is because they so easily believed and trusted him. They didn't philosiphy like theologans do today. They didn't say "When Jesus told us to be perfect he didn't really mean it" They just listened and obeyed.Some verses in the Bible need to be founded on 2 or 3 witnesses however. Back in Christ's day, women who did not cover their necks were usually prostitutes. Today it is a little different. This is why Paul asked women cover their heads. But at the same time, we should take that lesson and be modest in our dress, covering up as much as possible especially in church.God bless!!!

    Where does it say this is why he choose fisherman?I don't mean to be critical Kendall but this sounds like mens opinion/teaching not Gods word.And you are right we are to dress modestlyBut the covering of the head has nothing to do with this modest dress. It is about protection/power/authority of the veil of God from the fallen angels as stated by Paul in 1Cor 11:10 1 Cor 11:6-10 If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head. 7 A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. 8 For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; 9 neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. 10 For this reason, and because of the angels, the woman ought to have a sign of authority on her headSame verse KJVFor this cause ought the woman to have power on [her] head because of the angels.

    Can I be real with you? After being saved a while I'm not even close to being the wittiest and most courageous Christian all the time nor am I close to being a perfect Christian all the time too. Can I just be real about one thing only now? I'm courageous enough for Jesus to stand on his Word with his bible verses anywhere. Let the bible offenders bring the heat on I'm still courageous and real enough.Do you stand on the bible truth if I test you out with1 Timothy 2;9-14, etc. ?Still stand on this bible truth if I deal with these verses now:2 Corinthians 6:14-17Galations 1:8-9Matthew 15:14Amos 3:3Psalms 133:12 Peter 1:20-21If you still confused your not one of God's sheep that hears his voice. I can't be phony and say different. If you know what time it is let's be about full unity God's way and be equally yoked together. Your the only reason why I'm here if your such a person. Like Paul say we're not to be beating in the air as one unseemingly.

    Isn't it obvious?The learned men of the day were not chosen, there minds were too messed up. Jesus didn't go into the temples and say Nicodemus follow me, Caiphas follow me, he chose fishermen, tax collecters etc.Even Paul, had to go to the wilderness for 3 years to be re-educated in the school of Christ.Btw i'm not going to say anything about the veiling of the head, i'm not a woman so i'm not going to worry about it, if people do it praise God it is their choice, if people don't do it, praise God as long as they are serving the Lord.God bless!!

    This is not biblical or probably even Christ like, but you really know how to ruin someone day agee, you just make us mad, you are not going to make us shut up so stop trying to. YOU ARE THE ONE WHO DECIDE WHO IS CALLED AN CHOSEN? YOU PUT YOUSELF IN THE SAME CLASS AS SATAN WHO WANTS TO SIT IN THE PLACE OF GOD...... WE GET IT. and you use the Word of God as a big ol stick. I guess God will finally be the one to teach you what He meant by these verses. I can't wait.

    I have mentioned 'sheep' on other threads, but within the topic of the thread itself, I lend to you an observation by a study buddy, one Charles H. Welch ~ may it give rise to pause and circumspection ~"Israel are spoken of as ‘sheep’, not only as a company under the care of the Lord their Shepherd (Psa. 100:3), but as sheep which have gone astray (Isa. 53:6). Peter, who was the apostle of the circumcision, says to those of Israel that composed the ‘dispersion’, that they were as sheep going astray, but had now returned to the Shepherd and Bishop of their souls (1 Pet. 2:25). To the ‘lost sheep’ of the house of Israel, the Lord directed His earthly ministry (Matt. 10:6; 15:24), but revealed that there were those ‘not of this fold’ who should be sought, and compose at the last ‘one flock and one Shepherd’ (John 10:16). The only times that Paul uses the figure of sheep are in Romans 8:36 where the ‘slaughter’, not the sheep, is significant, and in Hebrews, where he speaks of Christ as ‘The great Shepherd of the sheep’. From the survey of the usage of the term, we are led to see that no member of the church of the Mystery is ever called a sheep, and that the title Shepherd is never used of Christ as Head of the church. In Acts 20:28, Paul counsels the overseers to feed the church (Gk. poimaino‘shepherd’), and in Ephesians 4:11, where we read ‘He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers’.The word ‘pastor’ is in the Greek, poimen ‘shepherd’. It is inconceivable that the Lord should give to any man the gift of being a ‘shepherd’ but make no provision for the exercise of this gift.     Nobody mad but the devil.You know what you are and I know what I am in Christ.If we doing this unity effort right then declare your reaction to this book on everything I mention.Folks for real got to know each other.We know we for real then we have to partake with people for real only.Nobody mad but the devil.I'm courageous enough to call the devil and his children a fake and a lier.Jesus called the devil and his children a fake and a lier. He called the fakes tare. He called the wheat folks for real. Matthew 13 will support my statement.If Jesus called folks tare and wheat I'm going to call folks tare and wheat.Simply following the Savior.
