This is false of course. All the wicked are cast into the lake of fire. The ones outside the gates of the holy city that are not permitted entry are the evangelical types that name and claim to be holy but lie.
That is not what Revelation 22:15 says. It says those outside are “dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.” It says absolutely nothing about “evangelical types.” You are inserting your own target group into the text and then presenting it as biblical truth. That is exactly the kind of thing Scripture does not permit.

If you want to say evangelicals are specifically the people outside the gates, then show the verse that says it. Otherwise, you are adding your own interpretation, like you always do to God’s Word.

So you think dobermans and beagles, and poodles are outside the city gates?

You are among those who love and make a lie. Of course you are going to deflect the truth away from yourself. You probably don't even see yourself as a religious hypocrite...

Scripture is not permitting you to complain about a true interpretation of the biblical narrative.

You poor thing. You will have to wait until judgment day. OR...you could practice faith and truth....not likely though.
Otherwise, you are adding your own interpretation, like you always do to God’s Word.
Why do you think you can interpret the bible? What have you seen?

Of course “dogs” is figurative. That still does not make it mean “evangelicals.” You inserted that into the text and still have not shown one verse that supports it.

Then you ask, “Why do you think you can interpret the Bible?” while insisting that your own interpretation is “the truth.” You cannot have it both ways.

Scripture is understandable enough to correct us, teach us, and expose error (2 Timothy 3:16–17). The question is not what I have “seen.” The question is what God has written.

So show from the text where Revelation 22:15 means “evangelical types.” If you cannot, then that claim came from you, not Scripture.

You are such a hypocrite. Unbelievable. Show me from the bible where that is said to be figurative. I challenge you to stop being a hypocrite and show chapter and verse where you can disprove that real dogs are not being described...

You asked for chapter and verse showing that “dogs” can be figurative. Here it is:

“Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers” (Philippians 3:2).

Isaiah also calls corrupt watchmen “dumb dogs” and “greedy dogs” (Isaiah 56:10–11). Obviously Scripture is not talking about literal household pets.

Now answer the point you keep avoiding. Where does Revelation 22:15 say “evangelical types”? It does not.

This is the pattern with you. I keep showing what Scripture actually says, while you keep supplying meanings that are not in the text and then declaring them to be truth. When Scripture exposes those claims, you answer with insults instead of Scripture.

You can call me a hypocrite all you want. It changes nothing. God’s Word is true, and your interpretation is false when it contradicts what He actually wrote.

So who are the saved? Who is walking in the salvation of God at the present time, and who will inherit life in the next age? These two considerations are usually confused or jumbled to be one thing. All the ways of God are BOTH mercy and truth. The word of God is like a DOUBLE edged sword. In this episode we explore the distinction between inheriting life according to mercy in the next age and inheriting life according to glory.

Apparently, and even revolutionary, a novel doctrine of a clear distinction of two types of salvation of inheriting eternal life has been generated here to suit ones Eschatological views.

Better hope these views are 100 percent bang on. If found in error, in any way, will then this peculiar contrast of inheriting eternal life by mercy, from truth in glory, and by two set of peoples, stand, or fall; having to re-examine the entire subject from scratch?

Unified Identity: Believers are described as "joint heirs with Christ" (Romans 8:17) and "heirs according to eternal life" (Titus 3:7). This inheritance is granted to all who trust in Jesus, regardless of their level of current faithfulness or suffering.

Mercy as the Source: The inheritance is fundamentally a gift of God's abundant mercy and grace, not human merit. As 1 Peter 1:3 states, believers are begotten to a living hope and an inheritance "according to His abundant mercy." This mercy is the basis for salvation and eternal life for all saints.

Glory as the Destination and Condition: While all saints inherit eternal life by mercy, the riches and fullness of that inheritance (glory) are closely tied to sharing in Christ's sufferings and faithfulness (Romans 8:17; Matthew 25:31-46).

Some theological views distinguish between basic salvation (inheritance of life by mercy) and rulership or rewards in the kingdom (inheritance of glory/rewards by faithfulness), but both apply to the same group of believers.

Shared Inheritance: The inheritance is "in the saints" (Ephesians 1:18), meaning it is enjoyed in common with all other believers. All true saints are heirs of God, and while the degree of glory or reward may vary based on faithfulness, the inheritance of eternal life itself is secured by God's mercy for all who are in Christ.

Therefore, true believers and saints are the recipients of both aspects: they receive eternal life by mercy and are positioned to inherit the glory of God, with the fullness of that glory potentially correlated to their faithfulness and suffering with Christ.

Episkopos is pretty much the last person to trust as far his knowledge of salvation. Or pretty much anything.

OK so you are literate enough to use a concordance. Now look up..."has seen nothing" and see if that's a good thing or bad thing according to God. Because you have seen nothing you better hope it's a good thing.

Love the way you are living up to your false teacher image, actually, you are one of the best false teachers I have seen online lately, proving that you don't know the bible and make it up as you go.

A dark shadow over the forum. I have shown this pretender to be a false teacher. He has seen nothing and speaks from an arrogant place of judgment based on his own bent...carnally concocted.

It might well be that @Epsikopos wants to believe Jews are saved by law-keeping through their own righteousness...perhaps he can confirm or deny that.

What I say is that an atheist is far better at honesty than a pretender such as yourself. The crows have gone backward and revile any truth that upsets their precious egos.

Do you believe that unbelieving Jews under the Law need to receive Christ to be saved? Or do you believe they are saved by the old covenant like John Hagee? What do you believe about that?

False as can be. Romans 8 is about overcoming by the Spirit or else dying.

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Some theological views distinguish between basic salvation (inheritance of life by mercy) and rulership or rewards in the kingdom (inheritance of glory/rewards by faithfulness), but both apply to the same group of believers.

This is also false. There is a big difference between the Bride and guests.

Yes, there is a dark shadow over this forum, but it is coming from the false teaching you keep spreading.

You repeatedly attack people personally while refusing to establish your doctrine plainly from Scripture. You call others blind, carnal, arrogant, and pretenders, yet when your own teaching is examined against the Word of God, you evade the text and attack the person instead.

Whether you recognize it or not, that is how deception works. Paul warned of those who “by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple” (Romans 16:18), and Scripture tells us to “prove all things” and “hold fast that which is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21).

So yes, your teaching has become a dark shadow over this forum, because you keep trying to persuade others to accept claims that you cannot establish from Scripture. I am not asking anyone to believe me. I am telling them to open the Bible and test what you are teaching against the Word of God.

All false and coming from the accuser of the brethren. Tell your boss that he doesn't have long left before the judgment.

Because I stand for the truth I will attract attacks from the nether regions among those who have been duped to serve another master...the father of lies. I have not been challenged whatsoever on anything I teach...the deceived ones only seek to attack me personally, as a result. And many here have a share in that condemnation. But know this...judgment is coming quickly. People have preferred the lie over the truth that unsettles them. And my threads demonstrate the true state of many in the churches...as their time is coming to an end.
