To All,
I would say two things regarding anyone who attempts to explain the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation.
The first is that John Walvoord correctly perceived that Daniel is the Key to Prophetic Revelation. Thus what Daniel establishes, Revelation details.
The second is that the prophecies of Daniel are shut up and sealed until the time of the end, -- which I would argue is approximate to 1948. Thus NO ancient authority can interpret the prophecies of Daniel, regardless of their assertions.
That is unless Scripture is incorrect:
Daniel 12
[sup]4[/sup] “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
[sup]...[/sup]
[sup]9[/sup] And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
