Who is our Spiritual Mother?

I have heard people respond to this question in many, many different ways, mostly based on their denominational interpretations, and believe me, there are many. The bible doesn't give professional opinions on this matter, nor does it give us the pleasure of choosing an A, B, C answer that fits our comfort zone. If you know who you are in Christ Jesus, you will "KNOW" the answer. If you don't....?

"So then, brethren, we are not children of a bondwoman, but of the free woman". Who is our Mother?

Jesus answered that very plainly...

The early Jews saw Sophia, Wisdom,as the name of the Holy Spirit. This could qualify as. spiritual mother given God created the first couple in his image and likeness. Male and female created he them.

Jesus doesn't lie, why would you ask that? Jesus answered the way He did, because He was sent to the HOUSE of israel to teach and preach to His entire family, that was His ministry ordained by His Father, and while serving His Father in heaven, He was not going to be distracted by His birth Mother and brothers over matters insignificant to what God wanted Him doing. They were more than welcome to participate in the room with Him quietly.

Jesus says who are "MY" Mother and brothers to the man. He doesn't say to the crowd who is "YOUR" spiritual Mother. Paul speaks an alegory, ok, but not about the New Jerusalem. The New Jerusalem is not in and of itself an allegory. She exists and she will be revealed in her time as our Mother. Remeber, when John saw the vision of the woman of wonder, I call her, in his revelation account, he saw her clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet and a crown of 12 stars. The crown of 12 stars represent the apostolistic church, her children and all those who come after. "...and the dragon went after the woman AND her children...", or as some interpret, her offspring.

At the end of the mallinnium the armies of the earth surround the "beautiful city" to destroy it. God ends this world right there by sending brimstone an fire upon all of them and brings destruction of this heaven and this earth. After the great white thron judgment we see a New Heaven and a New Earth and then we see the New Jerusalem.

Hmm interesting question, well we have Father, Son & Holy Spirit 3 in 1, and then there is the Church which is the Bride of Christ.

Would that also make the Church as a whole a spiritual mother?

We were all made in the image of God, God made a helper for Adam and named her Eve.

Likewise God gave us the Holy Spirit as our spiritual helper.

OK, so when they told Him His mother and brethren wanted to see Him and He tells us who His mother and brethren are... why isn't this believed unless one thinks Jesus doesn't know what He's talking about???

When will those claiming to love the Lord actually take Jesus at His Word?

Jesus says who are "MY" Mother and brothers to the man.

I have a spiritual Father who speaks , teaches , leads and keeps me…nowhere do I read that I need a spiritual mother !! God is all in all. Moses knew Him as the father mother God who nurtures .
