Here is an excerpt:
Ignatius of Antioch

See that ye all follow the bishop, even as Jesus Christ does the Father, and the presbytery as ye would the apostles; and reverence the deacons, as being the institution of God. Let no man do anything connected with the Church without the bishop. Let that be deemed a proper Eucharist, which is administered either by the bishop, or by one to whom he has entrusted it. Wherever the bishop shall appear, there let the multitude of the people also be; even as, wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church (Epistle to the Smyrnaeans 8 [A.D. 110]).

This is written in a very similar style to the Epistles in the Bible, the use of words is quite similar.

Just saying it is quite possible that Christian writings were burned during that era, Rome didn't get Christianized until after 300 AD. Before that it was a pagan empire that persecuted Christians.

And there are still a few people around the world that will burn Bibles.
Yes, I understand - but if ALL of you would go back and read the posts - the discussion was about the Early CHURCH burning writings from the Early CHURCH that were in opposition to CHURCH doctrines.

This is false.
