oh you might have no idea how TRUE it is what you just wrote .
But this medicine of love i offer up , it might sting a bit but its gonna do good unto those who do recieve it .
Ready .
You said , you wrote that you are speaking of the fallen human nature that sure do thrive on the NEWEST and LATEST gossip .
BOY aint that the truth .
But now its time for the medicine that though it might sting it will heal .
THAT IS ABOUT MOST all of christendom now .
ALWAYS THRIVING on the latest big move , new book , new crap of men that is but gossip cause it sure aint truth .
THEY always looking for the new big book , the new big teaching , the new big feeling
BUT DARN they sure dont seem to DESIRE to read the ONE BOOK that contains TRUTH .
That might sting , it might not . BUT IT BE TRUE .
I am wore out with what i am and have been seeing within a LOT of christendom .
ALWAYS jumping onto the next big THING , the next big book , the next big etc
BUT SURE DONT SEEM TO JUMP on that BIBLE . this is not looking good my friend . not at all .
Me thinks when i look at most of christendom , YOU KNOW WHO I SEE
THE OLD ME that could lip the gospel , BUT JUST DIDNT KNOW HIM AT ALL and embrace
what I wanted , NOT WHAT GOD WANTED .
Well I have been preaching Jesus and HIs Word for over 40 years now. I have but a few trusted mentors. I read hundreds of books to learn what was happening in Christinaity and to find exactly what the bibkle teaqches.

Now I believe that I am 100% right in everything I believe in, but that don't mean I am 100% right.

After walking with eh Lord for 50 years now, There is very few sermons that will break new ground with me. but I love sitting under my pastor and co laboring with him for the glory of the Lord and the benefit of the church.

rather than seeing me as a hater or judger , or etc
I want YOU to pray to GOD about what i just wrote .
And ask HIM , is this man a devil , or is this man simply a man who loves the people and ONLY DESIRES good for them .
Also do pray and ask the LORD if there be in fault in me , hidden or etc that i myself might need to repent of my friend .
Cause i sure as heck never once said i was the perfect all knowing one . BUT what i am telling you all
has been the truth . IT truly is bible time again for us all .
By grace , by HIS grace , the only true grace , i have enjoyed and loved reading that book
every day for hours and with others too , for over eighteen years now . That aint to boast in me
BUT TO BOAST IN GOD who CHANGED MY HEART and gave me that NEW DESIRE .
WHO saved the worst of the worst and changed the heart of that man . PUT A NEW LOVE INTO MY heart HE DID .
I am sure we have disagreed on issues but nothing major. Your grammar tends to be atrocious, but I cannot judge for I am famous for spelling "the" as "teh"

You said you have been preaching JESUS and HIS WORD for forty years . Well that is wonderful my friend.
but allow me a reminder now .
HIS WORD dont include other religoins as serving the same GOD , nor do it imply they do or that they will be okay
even if they repent not and beleive on JESUS the CHRIST .
cause if our WORD includes that , THEN IT AINT the WORD of GOD .
All other religoins are in darkness and serve the darkness of the dark one . THERE BE ONLY ONE WAY and ONE NAME
that can set them free . And its high time we start preaching that name to them poor lost souls
rather than trying to find common ground with them poor lost souls .
I never seen JESUS tell the jews who failed to believe on him . OH ITS OKAY , just go ahead and do some good works
feed the poor , you will be fine if ya just loved ya neighbor .
NO sir . He made quite the opposite clear . WORSE For you than even for SODOM .
So it looks like we have us a choice before us .
Will we continue in the true gospel that CHRIST and later paul and others preached
or will we be hijacked into another false gospel that wont be saving squat .
Its that serious my friend . JESUS will not be denied . And if one rejects and beleives not the testimony
GOD gave of HIS SON , they call GOD HIMSELF a LIAR .
doesnt it say all liars will have their place in the lake of fire .
BELEIVE YOU ME if ONE CALLS GOD A LIAR , well ITS THEY WHO BE THE LIAR , NOT GOD .
LET GOD be TRUE but every man a liar .

I agree no other faith on earth will save a soul. Islam, Judaism, even adhering to many of the cardinal doctrines of some sects in Christendom.

But any person in Christendom (even RCC) who are trusting in the death and resurrection of Jesus for their salvation aresaved despite what other false baggage they are forced to carry.

not the baggage coming out of the RCC nor the protestant realm .
I SEES ME a false gospel . you cannot hold to cliam the true one and yet believe also in the false and teach the false .
THEY will be double damned for using the name of JESUS .
Oprah is an example .
WELL JESUS IS MY WAY she says , but ye aint gotta beleive , muslims have their way , etc .
THAT BE A FALSE GOSPEL coming from the lips of one USING the name of JESUS . and i am afraid
THIS has grown massive within christendom .
WE cant sit at TWO tables . we cannot cliam TWO GOSPELS one for us and a false one for others .
BUt it seems most of christendom sure thinks we can .

Those false religions do not serve the same God that we do. Remain at ease. :waves:
at ease . most folks are already headed right down that path my friend .
Most folks even leap for joy with the pope led abraham peace accords . Try reading that mess .
all its meant to do is merge the religions under guise for peace n safety .
HOW does anti christ destroy again . OH YEAH through peace .
HIS LIE is this religious tolerance common ground crap . and more and more head right to that snare every single hour
of every singel day . ITS replacing the one true gospel my friend .
Ya aint seen what i seen and have come up against . THEY will holler GOD is love
and throw you and your bible right out of a church for speaking and reminding of simple truth .
YE try and even dare to expose them and that false broad path road
and at the very least you will hear a lie that says JUDGE NOT you hater , STOP judging the other religoins
THERE ARE GOOD People in all religoins , You dont know their heart .
Yeah . show me ONE person , just one mr dan , just one
who has not sinned and fallen far short of the glory OF GOD .
SO much for good people . and as far as the heart of man goes , The heart of man is evil from his youth up .
GUESS what all this means . WE REALLY DO NEED TO PREACH JESUS THE CHRIST
cause I KNOW HE NEVER FELL SHORT of the GLORY OF GOD , HE IS THE GLORY OF GOD
and the ONLY ONE WHO CAN SAVE THEM . time for the repent to BELEIVE MESSAGE again
and not the other oh dont judge stuff .
and i said that is the very least you hear . SOme men have been threatned andeven punched and kicked
at byso called christains for even daringto correct these lies .
IT will get much worse too mr dan . the ecumincal gathering has almost finished its course
SOON THE CRUSADE part will begin against any and all who did not conform to the love inclusive tolerance crap ,
that sure does accept a lot of sin but wont tolerate that bible . rather odd mr dan . their love sure
has seem to have turned them to the acceptance of sins and even false relgions
but man has it turned their hearts BIG TIME against the holy words of GOD and those who do bring them .

My dear brother, we all have false doctrine we hold to. We just do not know which is false yet.

Salvation is based on trusting in the death and resurrection of Jesus for ones sins. Alone. Any false teaching only burdens the believer down and hampers their walk with god- not their salvation, unless that false doctrine goes against the fact that one has to trust in the death and physical resurrection of Jesus alone for sin.

When I got saved, I went back to Catholicism, for that is all I knew. It took several years for me to work through the false doctrines once I got my hands on a bible.

Perhaps many who are leaving the organized church's are leaving because they ARE following The Holy Spirit and recognize the lack of His presence, and would rather not sit under false doctrines...?

This is interesting.. Christians Tell Why They Are No Longer Religious:

'#1 Southern Baptist

Ever wondered why some folks who used to be really into Christianity are now saying “no thanks” to the whole faith thing? Well, we found a bunch of them on social media sharing their stories. From growing up with certain beliefs to discovering things that didn’t quite add up, these former Christians have some interesting reasons for losing their faith. Let’s dive into their tales and see what changed their minds.

“Short answer: grew up Southern Baptist. When I started getting to the age where I could think critically about things, I just started noticing some inconsistencies. Specifically, I was told that people who believed in other religions would go to hell because they followed the “wrong” religion. What?? When religion is based a lot on where you are born, I just could not truly believe that people would be sent to hell for being born in the “wrong” country.”

This user’s critical reflection on his Southern Baptist upbringing struck a chord, particularly when confronted with the notion that people of different religions could face damnation solely based on their place of birth. The recognition that entire populations could be condemned for circumstances beyond their control raised questions about the fairness and logic of such a religious perspective, ultimately leading to a reconsideration of the user’s faith journey.

#2 Mythology Class in College

“Taking a mythology class in college and realizing all the different religions had similar origin stories of how earth and man were created and evolved, but the details differed based on the environment the people lived in and how far along they were technologically. Anything science couldn’t explain was the will of a higher power.

Not saying higher powers COULDN’T exist, just realized people are killing each other because theirs is the ‘right God’, but the people don’t realize that for all intents and purposes, they are all following the similar lessons/stories.”

In a broader context, the user’s revelation in their mythology class illuminated the commonality among diverse religions. As they explored various mythologies, they discerned parallels in the stories of Earth’s creation and human evolution. The realization that different cultures, despite varied details, shared fundamental narratives about higher powers and unexplained phenomena prompted a reconsideration of religious exclusivity.

#3 Being Told Not to Question Faith

“Being told to not question my faith made me lose my faith. If I cannot question what I believe in to better understand it, then it wasn’t worth believing in it in the first place. Or they are hiding something they don’t want me to find out, which makes me even more skeptical of it.”

For this user, the very act of questioning was essential for a deeper understanding of his beliefs. When this exploration was stifled, it raised doubts about the authenticity and solidity of the faith. The suppression of questions created a perception that there might be hidden aspects or inconsistencies that authorities sought to conceal. This lack of transparency and the inability to engage in an open dialogue eroded the user’s confidence in the faith, as genuine belief, for them, required a foundation built on inquiry and understanding.

#4 Unfulfilled Prayers

“I was in a hard time for me and I started praying, attending catholic activities and doing lots of other things like these. I wasn’t feeling better. Years after I gave up doing these things and started taking care of me by myself and now I’m happy. So the faith gradually went away. I’m not fully an atheist though, I may be an agnostic but I’m not sure.”

In this instance, the user’s experience revolves around a personal struggle where traditional religious practices did not provide the expected relief or improvement. The subsequent shift towards self-care and the positive outcome generated skepticism about the effectiveness of religious rituals. The realization that personal agency and self-care contributed more significantly to their well-being than religious practices prompted a reevaluation of faith......https://milliondollarsense.com/christianity-to-atheism
Why are you quoting these persons' falling away from the faith they had? What's your point?

Reformers teach heresy which is on God's list of "those that do these things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God"

It's too bad those following reformed theology are not right with the Lord.

They'll learn this the hard way when they croak some day and go south instead of north.
Dan, I'm curious. Why do you think "Reformers teach heresy" and that they won't "inherit the Kingdom of God"? I follow Reformed theology. How am I not "right with the Lord"? I don't believe in arguing about anything but in discussing it rationally with the Bible as its focus.

After being a pastor in a Reformed denomination for 27 years, I left the congregation of which I was a member in retirement because the Bible says that we should reach in to minister to members but also reach out to community people who have no church home or faith. The lack of outreach got to me after a while, and I found a church that was interested in outreach and in-reach.
