"Abba" is the affectionate term for father in Hebrew.
However, if Pope Francis knew his Bible, he would understand that "the Light" and "the Creator" apply to Jesus, not the Father.
How can it apply to one and not the other? "For I and My Father are ONE"
John 10:29-31
The Unbelief of the Jews
…29My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30
I and the Father are one.” 31At this, the Jews again picked up stones to stone Him.…
Deuteronomy 6:4
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is One.
John14:8-10
The Way, the Truth, and the Life
…8Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.” 9
Jesus replied, “Philip, I have been with you all this time, and still you do not know Me? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you, I do not speak on My own. Instead, it is the Father dwelling in Me, performing His works.…
If Christ is Light then the Father is Light if Christ is Creator then He is One with the Father.
We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven:
by the power of the Holy Spirit
he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary,
and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.
Three are ONE.
