I'm new and so haven't read any but these the posts of the op.

It sounds to me like he's bragging. Exhibiting pride and expressing self aggrandizement.

I think it's one thing to defend one's understanding of doctrine. However, to be fair and humble in the course of that I think that person has to also be open to accepting they can be wrong.

I don't get that from reading the op and subsequent replies from RenewedStrength316.

UNLESS... that person who holds false doctrine tries to personally attack first, which is what happens most often on this forum. Then those deserve... a CHRISTIAN REBUKE like Apostle Paul had to give to the rebellious in the churches in which he was overseer.

You got that idea from 'this world', because man's fleshy sin nature naturally is rebellious, and does not like correction. Thus those shown Truth 'as written' in God's Word that disagree try to use the false excuse that one quoting the Scripture as written is instead pushing their own agenda, when all they are doing is revealing the actual Scripture evidence.

Simply revealing the Scripture evidence 'as written' is what I have done many times on this forum, but was accused of heresy by those who disagreed not with me, but they actually were disagreeing with the written Bible Scripture. What Lord Jesus said in Matthew 24:29-31 and Mark 13:24-27 that His future 2nd coming will be after the tribulation is one such Scripture example I have given.
