Simply put, yes! All economies that use fiat currencies will go through depressions. With our combined debt at over 110 trillion dollars and unfunded liabilites at over 200 trillion dollars, it is only a question of when.

The majority of Germans were against Capitalism when the system crashed and they ended up with 200% inflation !
So they were seeking something other ! because they lost faith in such.

Not to mention they all hated the Jews for sure ! Why ! well it was the Bankers who they always hated for their ruthless dog cunning ! and as for other Jews it was the way they did business, that all of Europe Hated in fact !

Good point. Without wanting to sound too "conspiracy theorist," I think that's a vital part of the plan. Reduce humanity to economic enslavement by bringing the nations into such debt to the IMF and World Bank that no one can move without the powers that be granting them the right. Anything people want will have to be granted, because personal wealth, borrowing, (and self-determination) amongst the masses will progressively give way to utter dependence upon the State for everything.

These are both serious signs of ill-health in the American economy, but nobody really cares - until they must.

Jesus called it the "beginning of sorrows" period.

But in 1 Thess.5, Apostle Paul showed that when the deceived say, "Peace and safety", then the "sudden destruction" will come upon them, meaning on the last day of this world God's consuming fire of 2 Peter 3:10 on the "day of the Lord". Daniel 8 also mentions how the coming false-Messiah will destroy using peace, and craft will prosper by his hand. Thus financially, and materially, the coming tribulation period is going to be like a chicken in every pot for those who bow to the false-Messiah, which is how they will be claiming that, "Peace and safety" for that time. The actual persecutions upon the Church at that time will be upon those of us who remain waiting on Jesus, as we refuse to bow to the false-Messiah that comes first.

A better question is "is talking about it going to change anything?"

The markets and the economy in general does better when things are kept positive.

After all, the economic wisdom of mankind is a fragile house of cards anyway.

The nations of the world started working in earnest to move away from the dollar during the biden administration seeing how the US was putting sanctions on people all over the world and seizing their money and assets just because biden didn't like them

Now the chickens are coming home to roost.

This should all be meaningless to Christians who trust the Lord to be their Provider instead of this world's economic system.
