King Jesus,

You gave up your rights, your autonomy, the things owed to you for being equal with the Father ..

You suffered, wept, bled, and died to submit to the Father for the joy of eternal life with us.

My life is circling the drain but this is no surprise to you. It's been granted for the righteous to join in the sufferings of Christ in order to partake in the glory to be revealed.

My dreams are shattered. I have no more options out of this mess. Not without denying what's right.

I choose you, Lord.

You are better than a house. You're better than a comfortable amount of money. Better than perfect health. You're better than the things Ive left behind. You're worthy. Eternity with you is worth anything, even if I die.

You are greater than comfort.

Your Word is my sword, faith in You, my shield. You are my treasure. I won't give way to fear. I won't back down or tap out.

It's sink or swim and I choose to swim in Your name.

Ill hide your Word in my heart. And when the enemy reminds me of what Im losing, Ill tell him

Better to suffer with the righteous than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season

Lord Jesus, I am so blessed that I have complete assurance of your presence in my life. I am so thankful that you have led me by the still waters and granted me the privilege of being able to lie down in green pastures.

Lord, you are my Rock, I will trust in you and not be shaken. I will trust in you in all things, for your ways are perfect. I thank you that you have made me righteous in your sight through my acceptance of you as my Saviour. You are my strength when I am weak, you are my health when I am sick and you are my righteousness.

Thank you, It is good to give thanks and praise for He is good and his love endures for ever.
