[Titus 2:5 KJV] "[To be] discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.".........This verse isn't saying for wives to be obedient to their husband's commands and dictates. I see it saying for wives to be obedient to the word of God in regard to how they act toward their husband. I see the verses that exhort us as to how we are to treat others, also being applied to how we treat our marriage partners. Here are some of the verses that exemplify this: [Romans 12:10 KJV] "[Be] kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;"
[Romans 13:8 KJV] "Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law."
[Ephesians 4:2 KJV] "With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;"
[Ephesians 4:26 KJV] "Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:"
[Ephesians 4:31 KJV] "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:"
[Ephesians 4:32 KJV] "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."........Wives then should obey all of these type of verses, not only toward others, but toward their husbands as well.
