Romans 8:32 (NASB)
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
This is God’s heart towards us, “all things”. They are for “whosoever will”. The heart that wants God can have God as much as they would want. We are the one’s that limit God in our lives, by our doubt, our fear, our unbelief. Our wanting things our own way, wanting to be right. Own will is that which limits our growth in Christ. For God has given Christ to mankind, we can have as much or little as our heart would have. For He is good and this heart of pure goodness is towards us. For God is love, God is righteousness, God is all good things, with a heart to communicate this goodness to the...
I thought it just might be time to have a very positive praiseful thread about the wonders of a walk in the Spirit.
We have this treasure in earthen vessels.
We are to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Now this a miraculous place to be...so far away from our routine worldly lives so that few can believe we have access to so much from God. But God gives us His grace.
All He asks from us to see this realm is faith. To enter in costs us everything, of course. But we can still taste and see the goodness of the Lord for ourselves...as a free gift of grace from Him.
The kingdom of God is full of light. A shimmering light that reflects the glory of God. It is a dimension just beyond our human sight. It is in another...
Just planting seeds ,so if you disagree it's all good.
THREE EARTH AGES
In Jesus name we ask you Father for wisdom and understanding your truth about the three Earth Ages, Amen.
I'm sure many, many people do not know that there are three Earth and Heaven ages or eons of time. One Earth and one Heaven however three earth and heaven ages.
To understand the Bible it is very important to learn about the ages because it will help you to understand God's plan for mankind as to where we came from, how or why we came to be in these flesh bodies, and what the future will be for us from the plan of God.
The Bible is just not about stories written a long time ago. The Bible also tells us about a plan that our Father has for us from the...
It has been said that for every mile of road there are 2 miles of ditch (one ditch on either side of the road)
But in truth those ditches are more like vast fields. The road is the elevated road of holiness.
8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
The early church was called the followers of "the way".... the way of Christ which is in holiness.
But that way is narrow and few can find it. So then the possibility of...
The Any-Moment-Now Rapture Theory: a Deception Leading Straight to the Antichrist by Steve Barwick Of all of the controversies among Christians, there is none greater than that of the so-called “any moment now” rapture theory, also known as the pre-tribulation rapture. Those who believe in the rapture cling to it tenaciously, like the cartoon character Linus clinging to his security blanket. Unfortunately, there’s absolutely NO Biblical support for “the rapture” as it is commonly taught by Christian ministers today. None whatsoever.
The Scriptures simply will not support it. Yes, there’s a spectacular "gathering together" of the saints. But as we’ll see in this study, it occurs here on this earth at Christ's Second Advent. No one is...
Colossians 3:3 (NASB)
For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
The security there is in these words. The permanency, the total unchangeableness, which is the permanency, the unchangeableness of a dead man. This is the strength of the believers rest that would be willing to believe these words of scripture. It is because of the unchangeableness of Christ having died on the cross, can the believer rest in these words of scripture. As unchangeable as Christ death is. And as all encompassing as the life that His death gives. Can the believers heart rest in these words. Knowing God’s promises in Christ are yea and amen to all that would with the faith of their heart be brave enough to forget about themselves and with...
In the very first verse of Revelation, John provides us with an important interpretive key: "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants what must shortly take place; and He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John" (Rev. 1:1). The use of the term signify tells us that the prophecy is not simply to be taken as "history written in advance." Instead, it is a book of signs: symbolic representations of the coming events. The symbols are not to be understood in a literal manner. We can see this by John's use of the term in his Gospel (see John 12:33; 18:32; 21:19). In each case, it is used of Christ signifying a future event by a, more or less,...
In the beginning of creation was the Word of God,
And the Word of God was one with God.
God was His Word.
Some believe that once you decide to be saved you can never choose to be lost again, it is irrevocable on your part. When you accept Jesus as your Saviour, it will be the final choice you will ever make about your eternal destiny. If you change your mind later and repudiate your decision, it will be too late, nothing can change it. No matter how deeply and sincerely you desire to be lost and repent of your repentance, you cannot escape from eternal life. No amount of bitter rebellion, deliberate blasphemy, or iniquitous living can change that once-for-all decision to be saved.
Is this what the Bible teaches or could it be that maybe salvation is not predicated upon only one irrevocable act or choice of the past, but upon a continuous,...
I just read through a profound discussion going on at CF over how the gifts of prophecy should be governed in the church. I gave a response just a second ago. Thought it might be something we should talk through as well. Relevant to the future of the end-time church.
Blessings in Christ.
