Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Baptism is not only a water baptism.
It is evident that in this verse, there are three baptisms. Water baptism unto repentance to acknowledge Jesus is their King, Messiah, the Son of God; baptism by the Holy Ghost, the outpouring of the Spirit of the new testament; baptism with fire or coming judgment and refining.
Christ's Church being caught up to the Lord in the Clouds, Above the Earth;
1 Thes 4
 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
There are many denominations who all believe in the same person... Jesus. This shouldn't be so!
Let us try and come together to find a united approach on what a Christian means, so we can try and put together the body of Christ. The first century Christians are a good example of what followers of Jesus looked like.
And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
Where is this singleness of heart...
There is a prevalent false teaching that the last week of Daniel was not fulfilled entirely, and that it is a "floating" week that remains to be fulfilled in the future, which is the basis of several false teachings based on this misunderstanding, such as the false teaching concerning a "7 year" tribulation, the false teaching of the antichrist establishing a "7 year covenant", and several other false teachings. Here is a study that demonstrates how the 70 weeks prophecy of Daniel was fulfilled entirely, on what Gregorian dates the weeks of Daniel were fulfilled, and how each part of the 70 week prophecy was fulfilled. Checkout the study here:...
I’m continuing a conversation with Naomi25 concerning whether the millennium is a real thing or not.
Naomi25 said in the thread, Replacement theology, #54- “However...in regards to your other idea...of during the millennium the Church will be in heaven while everyone else will be, I assume, in normal bodies down here with Christ reigning over them...I still have some problems with it. Firstly...I find no scripture evidence for it. Secondly, it still leaves us with a bit of a mess, does it not? What could be the purpose for such a time? “
She also said - “Well, we certainly don't let one passage in an apocolyptic (hard to interpret) book tell us how to interpret these easier passages...”
My response to this is that when...
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
If you still follow the " handwriting of ordinances" and fall over yourself to keep the law and be a good Moses gospel expositor, then you are missing the greatest life ever to be lived.
When Jesus Christ laid His dead head on His dead shoulders, you died (all in Adam dead, right then, right now). One of the harshest and most wonderful acts of God at the same time took place.
And Christians should not take it lightly, a very high price was payed for you to espouse your message of separation.
There is no separation for the born again believer. There is shortcomings, sins of...
Matthew 7:21-23 (NKJV)
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord’, shall enter the kingdom of heaven,
but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day,
‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name,
and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them,
‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ ”
The Living Bible ---- “You have never been mine”
NLT, Holman -------- “you lawbreakers”
NIV, NRSV, Phillips -- “you have worked on the side of evil”
The Amplified Bible - “you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]”
It looks like lawlessness is breaking God’s laws …
and those who practice...
Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth".
John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God".
Revelation 1:1 "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John".
From Genesis to Revelation, the bible has been telling us that the only true God is the Holy Spirit, JESUS, who is Lord.
some doctrine have person for titles, which make them error in the word of God.
the True doctrine of God is that he is "a" Spirit. and the Holy Spirit is that Spirit who is JESUS.
the scriptures don't lie. we as "Diversified Oneness"...
