Most believers think that Jesus was perfect in His life on earth. By perfect I don't mean mature. Jesus was immature as a child...but always perfect.
Perfection is the image of God in any given situation. We could say it was a state of being or even a place. It is walking in a heavenly place...in the presence of He who alone is perfect.
Now the Cathars had a classification of believers called "the perfect". They were on to something but the problem is that they changed an adjective into a noun. We, as humans always take things too far.
We are never "the perfect" (noun)...but we can be perfect (adjective) by abiding in He who is our perfection.
Now many people have difficulty with anything that isn't sinful. These have no experience...
Have you ever seen a Christian try to live a Christian life. Most if they are honest will tell you they have a hard to doing it. Some seem to master life in some form of religion or another. They are good givers, and they pray and read their bible regularly, they don't miss many services. To be commended, but that is not what makes a Christian. Cut them off on the freeway and they fit right back in with the rest of us in Christianity. Just normal human beings trying to be a good Christian.
We spend alot of time trying to change, trying to meet what seems to be the requirements of Christianity according to someone. We here messages on all media outlets week end and week out on how we should live. They even tell you how you to prosper as...
In the 1960's TV show "Romper Room" in Southern California, the Teacher always had a segment where the children had to put on their "Thinking Caps". But as they grow into adults, they no longer need their Thinking Caps. Instead, everything is filtered through their rose colored glasses, so much so, that they can no longer THINK. They simply recite whatever nonsense they've been told.
So for those who no longer can exercise intelligent thought, please feel free to select Topics whose lies agree with the lies you've come to believe. But for any of you who still have critical thinking skills, please consider the following:
Daniel 2 defines FIVE World Empires:
So where Daniel Chapter 2 defines the sequence of world powers we have the following false narrative from the commentators:
1. Gold, Babylonian
2. Silver, Medo/Persian
3. Bronze, Grecian
4.a. Roman, Iron
4.b. Revived Roman, Clay with residue of Iron
Of course, this can't be true, because the Feet of Clay is called a "Divided KINGDOM". Thus there MUST be FIVE separate and distinct world Empires, -- exactly as History fulfills by the Three Superpowers and U.N. in this last "Divided KINGDOM".
Two places in the Bible that I do not feel support baptismal regeneration (water baptism necessary for salvation) are as follows.
1 Pet 3:18-22 (NIV)
18 For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit,
19 through whom also he went and preached to the spirits in prison
20 who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water,
21 and this water """symbolizes""" baptism that now saves you also-- not the removal of dirt from the body [by water] but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. “””It saves you by...
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together...
