Recurring Dream About A Sky Bridge
Two nights ago I had a dream about an unknown female friend and me talking on a skybridge that connected one building to another. It was possibly two stories off the ground. Underneath the sky bridge, there appeared to be a dry flood control channel where two...
Evangelism: Walking With God.
My first time in a church was an education and bore much fruit. I began going to church around 1980 or around that time. I had made a deal with the Lord that still stands today. I had many friends from around the world, although mostly teens around 17 and 18. After...
Revelation Chapter 18
Brother Shallieu’s thoughts on Verse 8
“Therefore, shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judges her.”
Immediately there comes to attention a listing in the reverse...
Revelation Chapter 18
VERSE 7 “In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’”
TO THE DEGREE THAT SHE GLORIFIED HERSELF AND LIVED...
Revelation Chapter 18
VERSE 5 “For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.”
FOR HER SINS HAVE PILED UP (Literally = JOINED TOGETHER) AS HIGH AS HEAVEN: The thought seems to be that heaven (God) can no longer overlook the accumulation of sins. They are past...
Vision About The Book
Last week I had a vision before going to Bible study group with some friends. I saw a vision of my friend on a plane, traveling to another country reading a book. Vision ended. Then I saw the book on a shelf, and I heard the Lord tell me to give it to my friend who was at...
Is an understanding of the philosophy of the ransom essential to justification?
Answer
Justification is the name for that standing in the sight of God in which He can accept us and deal with us no longer as sinners but as perfect human sons. This relationship or standing has been accounted to...
RESTITUTION PROMISED.
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution...
Revelation Chapter 18
VERSE 4 “And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.”
AND I HEARD: The first three verses totally summarized the condemnation of Babylon. The picture was complete. John now...
Revelation Chapter 18
PART II (Verses 4 – 20)
An Introduction to Part Two —
Part II deals with how the “fall” of Babylon (Verse 2) will progress to its culmination in its destruction. Part II is entirely narrated by the “voice from heaven” (Verse 4) who is the Seventh angel who did, indeed...
In organizing the texts on this subject, only a select few from the Bible have been included. The goal has been to highlight the most powerful texts that clearly express three main ideas:
That humanity is redeemed from death.
That this redemption comes through the blood of Christ.
That this...
We often hear good people, those who are church goers and to some extent love the Lord, say: “Well, it doesn't make a difference what you believe, if you're honest and do the best you know how.” But a careful study of the following Scriptures will convince anyone that Our Lord and the Apostles...
Revelation Chapter 18
PART I (Verses 1 – 3) continued
VERSE 3 “For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”
FOR...
Revelation Chapter 18
As was stated at the beginning of Chapter 17:
In this study as usual we will be consulting our two primary sources on the book of Revelation, viz., the “New Albany Notes on Revelation” along with excerpts from Brother Frank Shallieu’s work “The Keys to Revelation”, any...
Revelation Chapter 18
THE DECLINE AND FALL OF BABYLON (Rev 18:1-24)
Introduction to This Chapter, continued
Verse 20: A statement about how the saints rejoice because they know the good that is to follow.
Chapter 13 in Volume Four covers this. Only here does the order of Volume Four differ...
Revelation Chapter 18
Since it’s been sometime since we last continued with our study on Revelation, some may want to do a review of Chapter 17. It can be seen here. All the prior chapters can likewise be seen here, under Prophecy.
THE DECLINE AND FALL OF BABYLON (Rev 18:1-24)
Introduction to...
Fire Falling!
This morning while in prayer out back, I saw a vision of fire falling over my town. When this fire fell, it turned into molten lava and began to burn everything in it’s path. It flowed through the streets until it overwhelmed everything. Then it began to flow out of every exit...
Dream About Trump and The Chinese Child
In my dream, Trump was in a televised conversation with a Chinese child. He asked the child during a conversation what he likes to do for entertainment, and the child said that he likes watching movies. Trump asked if he could come the next time he went...
Vision Of the Tsunami
Last night I had a closed vision when I went to bed. In this vision I saw myself in a yellow kayak at sea. In front of me was a wall of water, like a tsunami wave. It was a terrifying sight as I looked up to see how high it was, and I was like an ant compared to its height...
1. Every class and private home study should be prefaced by following the instructions found in James 1:5
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God,
that gives to all men liberally,
and reproaches not; and it will be given him."
2. After asking for wisdom and understanding from God we...
