What comes merely out of the mind can reach only the minds of other people. It can never touch their spirits and give life. As we replace our glorified self-life with the ascended life in Christ we must let the Cross work in us daily.
The Lord Jesus was lifted up on the cross for the sake of giving spiritual life to men; likewise, if we desire to cause people to have spiritual life, we, too, must be lifted up on the cross ( dying to self) so that the Holy Spirit may flow out of us as well.
The Lord Jesus has taught us that our soul life, or natural life, like a grain of wheat, should fall into the ground and die (John 12:24)
In the minds and hearts of many believers lies an important error: the expectation that God will change us. God does not and will not ever do anything in us; instead, He puts us in Christ (born-again). If we are in Christ, all that is Christ's is ours.
The victorious life that I seek in Christ is actually something I already possess.
By believing it, you will have it. You can take hold of what He has already done in Christ by taking hold of it "in Christ". If we are in Christ, all that is Christ's is ours.
Where does Jesus promise that every believer in Him will find their purpose in Christ? -- "He that believeth in me, out of him shall flow rivers of living water" - John 7:38
