Daily Meditations And Affirmations - October 19, 2026

  • Welcome to Christian Forums, a Christian Forum that recognizes that all Christians are a work in progress.

You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

God has confidence in us. It is Him working in us, both to will and to do His good pleasure (see Philippians 2:13). And as come to understand our Christ identity and Gods PURPOSE for our lives, it is the Father's good pleasure is to give us the power of His Kingdom (see Luke 12:32). These are decisive days of DESTINY. We must respond, allowing the Holy Spirit to empower and equip us to understand and implement our authority and dominion in advancing God’s Kingdom. 1 John 4:4

We know who we are in Christ without doubt or fear. We are sons and daughters of God by His marvelous grace. We have the Blood of Jesus flowing through us. By His Blood we overcome the transgressions of this world by bringing forth His Great Commission by discipling, equipping, and sending out warriors to do battle with the kingdom of darkness.

Too many in the Church have limited themselves and limited God by not understanding their Christ identity and their right standing with God, usually by not having proper discipling offered in their respective Churches.

Colossians 1:27 - "...to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."

John 4:24 makes it clear: "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth"
Worship, in its truest form, is about living from the deepest part of who you are -- your spirit -- and connecting with God who is spirit.
We are triune beings: spirit, soul, and body. Understanding this isn't just theological trivia; it's the key to unlocking authentic worship.

Your spirit is who you truly are. Your soul consists of your mind, will, and emotions. Your body is the physical house you live in. Many people spend their entire lives worshiping from their soul, never tapping into the deeper realm of spirit-led worship.

What does soul-led worship look like? It's when you're reaching for a God who feels far away. It's being afraid of what others think. It's allowing the distractions of your week to dominate your thoughts. It's saying, "This song does nothing for me," or "I'll worship when I feel like it." Soul-driven worship rises and falls with circumstances, preferences, and emotions.

Spirit-led worship is entirely different. It's surrender. It's pure vulnerability. It's making a conscious choice before you even walk through the door that it's all about Jesus and nothing else. It's staying at the foot of the cross with no thought of leaving. It's connecting heart to heart with the Father, regardless of what's happening in your life.

Affirmations:

SINCE I DO NOT ACCEPT WHAT I KNOW TO BE TRUE IN THE NATURAL AND ACCEPT WHAT I KNOW TO BE TRUE IN THE SPIRITUAL, THE NATURAL CHANGES.

I DO NOT DEPEND ON WHAT I CAN DO, BUT ON WHAT THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD WILL DO THROUGH MY SITUATION.

Zechariah 4:6 - "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts."
