Get prepared. Consecrate yourselves. Shake off the disappointments and debris of the last season, and get ready to move.
You may be sitting with a blank page in front of you, and the LORD is saying, "This is a fresh start. This is a new beginning. I'm placing it before you."
"Joshua told the people, 'Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.'" - Joshua 3:5
He's taking you places you haven't been before—physical, spiritual, relational. Doors are going to open, in many cases, unexpectedly. You're going to find yourselves wondering, "How did I end up here?" and not in a bad way. But you will be shocked and surprised by the swiftness of the shift.
Isaiah 26:3 - "You, Lord, give perfect peace to those who keep their purpose firm and put their trust in you."
If your peace is disturbed, there is something wrong. Apply the blood of Jesus, and keep your mind stayed upon Jehovah, where hearts are fully blessed, finding as He promised, perfect peace and rest.
Keep your mind on God, gaining strength in Him day by day. We must keep in the spiritual tide -- God supreme, the altar within the body. Faith in His Word is the evidence, the power, the principle keeping us in rest.
We must have the Spirit in anointing, intercession, revelation, and great power in our ministry to others. "Our sufficiency is from God. who also made us sufficient as ministers of the...Spirit; for the...Spirit gives life" (2 Corinthians 3:5-6).
It is clear that much of our striving, fear, and hesitation is often a response to old wounds—abandonment, loss, rejection, and the quiet belief that we are on our own. But the truth is stronger than those memories. We are not orphans. We are not left to fend for ourselves. We are not tolerated; we are embraced.
He has promised never to leave us or forsake us. And that promise is not merely a theological statement; it is a relational reality meant to heal the places where fear learned to live. He is not simply committed to our potential; He is committed to us.
"I will never leave you nor forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5 ESV)
"I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." (John 14:18 ESV)
Ephesians 2:10 - ""For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them."
God is counting on you to fulfill the works He has prepared for you in advance. These works are part of His plan to establish the Great Commssion (Matthew 28:19) by defeating the kingdom of darkness and re-establishing the Kingdom that was lost in the Garden of Eden.
You have to understand your Christ identity and walk in it.
You need to embody who you are as a child and an heir. You have to look like royalty, walk like royalty, act like royalty, and talk like royalty. This includes taking care of your body, the temple of God, and your soul and spirit. It means changing habits and being intentional about what you eat, what you allow in through your gates, and what you release as well.
You must align yourself with the right people and stop associating with those who do not recognize the true you, who do not respect or value your authority in Christ; those who are a bad influence, and those who are just plain toxic
.
Now is the time to find someone who can disciple you into and understanding of your Christ, identity, right standing with God, and walking in the Spirit. As a born-again Believer, you need this to be effective in helping others with their spiritual development, and apprehend the Ascended Life in Christ,which replaces the self life you have been used to living in the past.
It's time to stop acting and speaking like a pauper, like an orphan, and live from a place of complete trust and confidence in who God says you are, and honor your Father with your life.
