Do you really know yourself?
I think I do but that just might be my illusion.
I only noticed last year how much my behaviour changes in the company of new work colleagues. I suddenly become very easygoing and friendly, eager to make a good impression. Maybe I am trying to get new allies.
Small wonder this behaviour is repaid in these colleagues thinking I am a doormat, who they can act selfishly with and even become dictatorial with me.
I may as well have a sign on my forehead ;
"Feel free to bully me "
