I can be Famous!!!

Being famous for something isn't necessarily a bad thing. Fame for being a Politician ... Entertainer... Sports star... That's okay. It's cool. They've done something really really well, and good on them. The trouble starts when those who are famous begin to think that means they are important. That we have to hang on every word they say. That their opinions and worldviews are worth more attention and more media coverage than yours, mine, or my pet birds. Fame does not equate with importance. And the views, opinions, and ideas of the famous aren't important either. They simply don't matter. Anyway, that's my opinion. And it doesn't matter either. But I'm sticking to it. Maybe I could become famous for having opinions that don't matter. Mmmmm.
