Jesus Christ is God but he did not take upon himself his sovereignty while here on earth. Philippians 2:8-11
Instead he humbled himself and became like a man so that he could save man through his sacrifice on the cross. Christ is God but he is not the Father. The father was in him and he is in the Father because he was born of the Holy Spirit.
Today, we gentiles are saved by Grace through faith. That same faith that Abraham and all those waiting on the promises did not receive yet, welcomed them from afar. Hebrews 11.
The Holy Spirit comes and dwells in us who believe his message and receive him by that same faith.
We are then in Christ and Christ is in us. The Father is also in Christ and also in us. John 17:11. The whole Godhead which is made up of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwells in every believer. John 17:21.
God's Kingdom is within us and is also a place not of this world.
