"Jesus called in a loud voice, 'Lazarus, come forth!' ......Jesus told them. 'Unwrap him and let him go!'" - John 11:43,44
CAST OFF the grave clothes of excess and false extremity and fall at His feet as a life poured out like a drink offering – having only eyes for who He is and what He is doing; and He will establish you in His PURPOSE for your life and consecrate you and cause you THIS year to see what your eyes have longed to see of His promises, His purpose, and His provision.
Truly, the Body of Christ is no longer satisfied with knowing our Lord and Savior as a doctrine of our mental understanding. As the Lord responds to the hunger of His people, He is revealing the Person of Jesus in the inward parts of our spirit. What we've understood with our "head knowledge," we will begin to experience through spiritual revelation.
And as the eyes of our heart become enlightened, our character and lifestyle will be transformed (see Ephesians 1:17-18). We will live each day pursuing His PURPOSE for our life. (see Colossians 1:9-10).
Ezekiel 3:1,2 - "Moreover He said to me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this scroll, and go speak unto the house of Israel. So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that scroll."
God's primary purpose is not just having us believe His Word, but having His Word change us.
Through His Word and communion with the Holy Spirit the Lord has provided heavenly bread that we can gather every day. Like the manna He gave to Israel in the wilderness, it cannot be stored, but must be gathered and partaken of fresh each day. As we partake of it we become what we are eating.
Galatians 1:10 - "If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ."
IF I AM TO WALK WITH CHRIST I NEED TO BE DELIVERED FROM THE FEAR OF MAN, THE COMPULSION TO BE ACCEPTED BY MEN, AND THE MOTIVE OF WANTING TO RECEIVE ANYTHING FROM THEM.
When we come to God's Word, we will reproduce what we see.
Proverbs 23:7 - "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he."
WHATEVER MY HEART IS SET UPON WHEN I COME TO THE BIBLE, WILL DETERMINE MUCH OF WHAT I SEE IN THE BIBLE.
For example, if I come to God's Word with evangelism on my mind, the Bible will open up new Scriptures that I never previously considered to be evangelistic. What I carry to this watering hole will determine much of what I see and reproduce.(Genesis 30:37-39)
In Luke 10:2, harvest is literally mentioned three times, "Then He said to them, 'The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.'"
Rather than dissect God's power into cookie-cutter theologies, let's fully embrace the sheer power of His presence and step into the brilliant light of the "Lord of the Harvest" and become His prophets, kings, priests, teachers, and evangelists to the world.
YOU become that laborer and you become that harvester and the prophecy of Jesus of a great glorious white harvest continues to be fulfilled and unfolded.
Maybe you feel like your dreams have died, your hopes have died, and your prospects have died. We live in a dramatic world where you may face great hindrances with excessive drama -- God has drama for you -- divine drama. God has a perfect track record, and His resume for doing special things during dark seasons is flawless.
God created us to move through spiritual seasons. And some of those seasons are spent in a wilderness.
The Father is calling to the backslidden. Come out of your comfort zone! Come and release what God intended for you from the foundation of the earth!
In the land of NEW BEGINNINGS, we remove the masks and veils that have formed in the past season so we can now form our “true” identity for the future. There is a new identity and authority for us in the invisible world. This will allow us to display the wisdom of God to the powers and principalities that have blocked us in past seasons.
Paul, the apostle, instructed us to walk purposefully toward one true goal (the DESTINY He has put in our spirit) (Philippians 3:12-16). This is not a time to wander around the mountain of defeat and unbelief; we are to lay hold of the promises of God, take Him at His word, and stand firm in faith.
True Christianity is the most challenging life we can have, and also the most fulfilling. It is the ultimate adventure. It is far more than attending a couple of boring meetings a week.
The growth of my faith is not like the growth of natural things that have built-in limitations.
2 Corinthians 4:13 - "And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak."
People with a spirit of faith believe God to help them do exploits. They're builders. They cultivate the dry land. They turn deserts into oases. They create something out of nothing. They call things that be not as though they are.
John 16:23 - "Whatsoever you shall ask the Father in my name, He will give it to you."
