Political correctness, new cultural norms and social pressure are trying to reshape the very fabric of the Church to be conformed to this world instead of being the transformational force we are called to be by the renewing of our minds by God's Word (Romans 12:2).
The enemy has loosed a spirit of seduction, deception and intimidation against the Church that, if we are not strong and be developing sanctified vision, will cause our very foundations to crumble.
In 1 Samuel 30, we see the story of David at Ziklag. At Ziklag, the Amalekites attacked and robbed David and David's men, taking everything that was precious in their lives.
The Amalekite spirit is indicative of a vicious, violent spirit of robbery. These were desperate times, and David had a decision to make: would he give in to what was happening in hopelessness, despair, or would he attack back? David did the wise thing and inquired of the Lord. The answer was clear and emphatic: pursue, overtake, attack, take back and recover all! This is the same answer that the Lord is decreeing to the Church today: "Attack your "lack of Believers to disciple others" and don't look back!"
DON'T LOSE YOUR CONFIDENCE
In Haggai 2:23 we read, “‘On that day,’ declares the LORD Almighty, ‘I will take you, my servant Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you.’”
Ancient kings used signet rings to designate authority, honor, or ownership. A signet contained an emblem unique to the king. Official documents were sealed with a dollop of soft wax impressed with the king’s signet, usually kept on a ring on his finger.
The enemy wants to shake your confidence. You must be bold and believe for the great things God has promised you.
As a born-again Believer you have Kingly anointing and authority – God has bestowed upon you a signet ring and a royal robe, symbols of authority and identity to walk in the fullness of His Spirit on the earth. As you wear this signet ring, you see and understand that you have been given the authority to bind and loose, to decree and declare, and to establish His advancing Kingdom on the earth.
You have been called to walk in boldness, for He has anointed you to bring forth transformation and breakthrough in the lives of other Believers to break the pernicious Laodicean spirit that has them bound to the self-life.
David was able to calm himself and seek God and receive the word he needed to hear in order to continue to advance toward his destiny. The enemy wants to upset you and get you off your Christ calling but don't let him. Scripture declares:
"The God of peace will soon crush satan underneath your feet..." (Romans 16:20).
We pursue God’s Kingdom above all else so God's peace will allow us to hear His voice and guide us to victory.
DON'T LOSE YOUR HOPE!
Hopelessness is a direct attack against the nature of God. The enemy wants to rob our hope of seeing things change or regaining our possessions. We must not shrink back in despair, but rise up in hope and faith. We understand that Christ in us, carrying out His calling on our life, is the very hope of glory and the banner of victory whereas we displace satan’s kingdom with His Kingdom as we disciple others into a higher consciousness of Jesus and their Christ identity.
"For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory." - Colossians 1:27 NLT
