The reasons for delay in your life are actually choices you have total control over?

Reason #1 – Pursuing the Promise Instead of God

If you have been in a pattern of delay for weeks, months or even years, ask yourself, "Have I been chasing something that is related to God's purpose for my life?"

For example, if you want something or need something, is it possible you don't believe you've already received it (Mark 11:24)? God promises in Philippians 4:19, "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
He is faithful and trustworthy. He says what He does and does what He says. God has promised you that He has ALREADY given you all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). Why not believe God at His Word?

Reason #2 – What You Magnify Will Manifest

The more you magnify anything, the more it continues to manifest. What you feed will grow. Never magnify, complain, or talk about the delay -- always affirm, meditate, and visualize the scriptures pertaining to what you are hoping for to come to pass (Hebrews 11:6). Instead of magnifying the delay, what you can do is choose to be content and thankful (prayer of thanksgiving) for what you already have.
Complaining about the delay can stop what you desire to happen. Be intentional from now on and choose to be content at all times.
1 Timothy 6:6 reveals a KEY to our breakthrough: "Now godliness with contentment is great gain." Just like complaining is a choice, being content is also a choice.

Reason #3 – Doing It Your Way Instead of God's Way

If you truly want to follow His lead, then take Jesus' advice in Mark 8:34: "Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me."

To take up your cross (come to understand and implement your Christ Calling) requires self-denial because you are now living a fruit bearing, Kingdom advancing life dependent on the leading of the Holy Spirit. This requires abandoning previous agendas and personal goals (self-denial) that cause problems with time and focus so you are now leading a life of dedication to the spiritual development of others, moving from glory to glory, living in God's favor, carrying out His will instead of your own -- by apprehending the ascended life in Christ. (Romans 8:1,2)

Affirmations:

I forget those things which are behind and reach forth to the calling God has put into my heart. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14,15)

The desire that God has put into my heart -- to be a spiritual mentor -- is like a tree of life. I act on this hope every day for I know that hope deferred makes the heart sick. (Proverbs 13:12)

I walk worthy of the Lord - I am fruitful as I equip new Believers into an understanding of their Christ identity, and I increase in the knowledge and wisdom of the Lord. (Colossians 1:9-12)

I believe with the highest expectation of the building up of the flow of Jesus into my heart as I soak in His love throughout the day.
