Do any of you ever have the same problem as me of God not ever seeming to answer prayers for years and years and wondering why? I have had alot of bad problems that I've prayer about and begged God to answer for years & decades and yet never seem to get any answers (except possibly just one or two recently after many years maybe though not sure/certain yet). There do also seem to be alot of others suffering things that they don't get answers or healing or deliverance for too, though some times we occasionally hear of God allegedly answering someone about something like cancer or whatever. Anyway I don't know what the reason(s) is/are but below is a list of what possible reasons I can think of from general knowledge of the bible:
not asking.
asking amiss only for own self flesh desires,
not having faith/believing without wavering.
not asking in his name (Yeshua/Jesus & Yhwh/Jhvh).
not being persistent.
not being specific.
not praying outloud maybe? (Does God answer prayers prayed in our head or do they have to be outloud?)
sin/iniquity/wickedness.
not forgiving.
not two or three or more gathered in his name and agreeing.
not elders & anoint with oil.
not prayer & fasting (in some cases).
"God helps those who help themselves"?
not controlling negative mouth words.
repetitions etc.
testing God.
not faith/grace but trying to earn/deserve/merit.
not praying like the Lord's Prayer.
not believing God exists and rewards those that diligently seek him.
Can you add any other possible reasons? (I decided to post this in blog rather than a forum topic/thread, but you could start one if you want?)
Though it is perhaps possible that maybe God doesn't answer many big prayers these days because there is a bible verse somewhere that says about how people will long/desire for the days of Jesus, implying that we won't have miracles/healings/etc like there were in Jesus time? (Sorry I can't remember or find where the verse is in the bible so I can't give the exact correct wording and book chapter verse citation.)
