Yep, "if you are a believer", not if you've stopped believing. Grace covers all the sins of believers, not unbelievers.because Grace covers all of his Sins ( and it DOES if you are a Believer in Jesus)
Once again you are completely correct...."if you are a believer". Believers have salvation intact, not believers who have stopped believing and are now unbelievers. You have to be a believer all the way to the end to be saved when Jesus comes back.If God’s Chastisement doesn’t get the job done......He always has the option to drop you dead in your tracks......Salvation intact, if you are a Believer.
Uh, I'm not the one that has to worry about that, lol. I'm not the one who believes that God's grace is a license to "do what thou wilt".

Can you tell us how one makes grace a license to sin and how that differs from Free Grace teaching? Thanks. Appreciate it....
And the unfounded, totally false “Big Lie” continues.....it’s all they got, and it’s a lie that has been explained many , many times.....no more trying to defend myself against Deaf Legalists....Smart people know what’s going on....I ain’t arguing against the rest of those that knowingly “ CHOOSE” to believe a lie.....time to “ shake the dust off of my feet”....
Then why aren't you an instrument of God's grace and understanding to them? I hear nothing but judgmental condemnation from you about them. No mercy, no compassion. You are to them what you claim they are to people. It's quite hypocritical. Just being honest here, guy.
Don't write it off just because I didn't charge you for it and you didn't have to pay for it....That opinion was worth exactly what I paid for it —— Nothing.
"...what Bonhoffer calls "cheap grace" compared to "costly grace." Cheap grace essentially takes sin lightly. If sin is taken lightly, then the salvation which Jesus purchased is also cheap." - Josh BennerAnybody who follows these Forums that has a functioning brain knows who believes in the “ cheap” blood that goes along with the false accusations of “ cheap” Grace.....and it ain’t me...
He wasn't using below the belt middle school humor to be mean and uncompassionate to the Judaizers/Legalists. Paul knows that they know the law, and that the law says that any man who's genitals have been crushed or cut off is not allowed into the Assembly.....When it comes to Religionists, Legalists and Tares, I try to show them the same mercy and compassion that Paul did.....he told your Spiritual ancestors , the “ Circumcision- For- Salvation” Crowd to go ahead and cut the whole “ package” off.....How sweet....how “ Compassionate” Of Him.....
If you actually knew what a legalist is you'd know I am hardly a legalist, lol.today’s Legalists, like you
Refresh my memory. I forgot which church in Revelation was warned about the leaven of legalism.Paul Lost many of the Churches that he founded ( all the churches in Asia Minor have deserted me) Leaven was the reason why.....it was not taken care of properly.
I promise you it's not phony. It occurred to me through these discussions lately how you boast of the grace and love and understanding and long suffering of the Lord in your own sin, but turn right around and rob that same love and compassion and understanding from the equally sinful legalist who has hurt you. Just saying, friend. Peace, bro. I'm just helping you out here......peddle your phony “ guilt trip” to somebody that doesn’t know their Bible.
Joh 10:2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. So what's the answer? Never ever tell them the gospel? How do you know ahead of time who to talk to and who not to talk to for fear of damaging them? I know a person to whom you do not breath so much as a syllable about the gospel, and so I don't. But I didn't find that out until I had talked to them! You can't just not talk to anybody at all just because there are going to be those who will be offended and will chew your head off.
I've been hurt too. By all kinds of Christians all across the spectrum. But we can't hold grudges. If we do we're robbing them of the very grace we say they robbed us of. Christ is calling us to rise above it, to be different, to be like Him.....I am so thankful that God healed much of the damage that was done to me by the legalists... but I tell you... I would not bother to cross the street to greet a great many of these brothers and sisters who claim to be obedient... and living a Christian life.
Are you talking about the lost sinner, the struggling saint, or the legalist? Are you seeing my point?YES sin is unacceptable... but to judge someone as a LOST cause is a very dangerous thing. Sadly... it is done all the time...
I challenge you to show real Christianity to her. Love her. Do nice, thoughtful things for her. She'll see the contrast between your Christianity and hers if you do that. You won't have to say a word about the gospel. And God will set you free from this anger and bitterness that is robbing you of His life. You have to love others to have the felt love of God in your life.....These "legalists" are still my brothers and sisters in Christ.... My aunt who is legalistic is still a Christian... but her methods and beliefs breath DEATH...rather that the hope of LIFE.
It's not about holding grudges.... I walked away from my family 6 years ago... and have in the last 6 months made amends with them... for the very sake of forgiveness... My aunt is old... she is in her 70's and she will not change... so I chose to make things right...I challenge you to see the peace that comes to your life when you start praying for those who hurt you instead of holding grudges.
