He wasn't using below the belt middle school humor to be mean and uncompassionate to the Judaizers/Legalists. Paul knows that they know the law, and that the law says that any man who's genitals have been crushed or cut off is not allowed into the Assembly.....

No man with crushed or severed genitals may enter the assembly of the LORD. Deuteronomy 23:1​

He knows by their own law that if the circumcisers would go the whole way and cut off their penises (Galatians 5:12) they would be required by the law that they say must be followed to be cut off from the Assembly. And so their Judaistic, leavening influence in the church would end. So stop using Paul's words as an excuse to be mean and uncompasstionate toward legalists. Their influence in the church must end. But we are still to love them. Legalists are people too, you know. People Christ died for.

The story I shared with you yesterday about that lady that stopped babysitting for me... she did NOTHING to bring me to any kind of

These "legalists" are still my brothers and sisters in Christ.... My aunt who is legalistic is still a Christian... but her methods and beliefs breath DEATH...rather that the hope of LIFE.

It's hypocrisy.... to state that we can ADD anything to the finished work on the cross... it's that simple... and those who think they have the right to point out others sinful conditions are often guilty of falsely judging... YES sin is unacceptable... but to judge someone as a LOST cause is a very dangerous thing. Sadly... it is done all the time...

I am so thankful that God healed much of the damage that was done to me by the legalists... but I tell you... I would not bother to cross the street to greet a great many of these brothers and sisters who claim to be obedient... and living a Christian life.

So what's the answer? Never ever tell them the gospel? How do you know ahead of time who to talk to and who not to talk to for fear of damaging them? I know a person to whom you do not breath so much as a syllable about the gospel, and so I don't. But I didn't find that out until I had talked to them! You can't just not talk to anybody at all just because there are going to be those who will be offended and will chew your head off.

I've been hurt too. By all kinds of Christians all across the spectrum. But we can't hold grudges. If we do we're robbing them of the very grace we say they robbed us of. Christ is calling us to rise above it, to be different, to be like Him.....

If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Do not even tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even Gentiles do the same? Matthew 5:46-47​

I challenge you to see the peace that comes to your life when you start praying for and loving those who hurt you instead of holding grudges.

I challenge you to show real Christianity to her. Love her. Do nice, thoughtful things for her. She'll see the contrast between your Christianity and hers if you do that. You won't have to say a word about the gospel. And God will set you free from this anger and bitterness that is robbing you of His life. You have to love others to have the felt love of God in your life.....

I challenge you to see the peace that comes to your life when you start praying for those who hurt you instead of holding grudges.

It's not about holding grudges.... I walked away from my family 6 years ago... and have in the last 6 months made amends with them... for the very sake of forgiveness... My aunt is old... she is in her 70's and she will not change... so I chose to make things right...

This is about not being comfortable in the presence of many people who CLAIM to be Christians... I am not angry with anyone... although I can see why you think this way... as my words to the legalistic bunch are HARSH....but the fact is... there are people who REPULSE me in the world of Christianity... they embarrass me because they claim to be Christian yet all they do is walk around and condemn the evil sinner... with the false premise of CORRECTION.

I am not that Christian and I will never be... sadly... because I state this... I am judged by other believers as condoning sin...

I don't allow these Christians of whom I speak any where near me... I guard my heart... and my faith.
