I have a friend who came to Christ after watching a horror film where a cross was held up and used against an evil force of some description. He realised that the cross itself had little significance but it was the POWER of the empty cross which mattered.

You know considering what you have here.

My viewpoint sees the Satan and his demons actually running around on earth back when you look at these pictures and images of real things happening with the Lord Jesus Christ really casting out demons, and devils, and they all obeyed Him.

Believe that these are real events that did happen. Though because now of believing after the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ Yeshua, by the Father. The Revelation indicates the defeat of Satan, and his angels (demons), and do believe this really did take place and is done which means Satan no longer roams around anymore.

The only thing that seems to exist is what was in the beginning. The Darkness, which was separated by God by the creating Light.

Our minds, are filled with darkness, and so our hearts they are filled with darkness.

Darkness of our imagination, darkness of our hearts, and our own ways, excluding God when we are at first born.

Sure we have good and bad, in life. As human beings we can even look at ourselves at good.

The truth is none of us are good, ~ We are all filled with darkness, since birth, and the only way to see light is to have the message of God, and the Lord Jesus Christ come into our life, that changes us from the persons we use to be ~ Kind of like that of the demons, or devil ~

We naturally learn to lie, steal, kill, be greedy, hate ~ With-in.

The only way to change any of these things is to let the Lord Jesus Christ in to our hearts, even if it involves the person opening the door that is being knocked on by the Lord, and slighly opening and letting a little bit of light shine in, in time change will come if they continue to seek and have a relationship with God, and the Lord.

The Lord God Almighty overcame and defeated Satan, His Angel(Demons), and also those who came from the grave / she'ol/ hell at the great white white throne judgement, those whose name were not in the book of life went to the lake of fire ~ And it is done now, and over with ~

Many may disagree and that is okay, totally respect your own view.

These are my thoughts. There is no way I can blame satan for doing anything in my own life personally.

All in my life have only see two things ~

A choice of another person and the effects of

A choice of myself and the effects and results of choices.

How many demonic spirits can you recognize in this scenario?

There should have been a motive, someone, probibly some other girl jealous about your boyfriend. Rather he betrayed you is unclear. Rather the pastor's judgement was muddled is also unclear, he should have been able to tell by looking at you that you are not a drug addict. And certainly not have kicked you out due to a single witness. Then your friends, it isn't clear if they were privy to why you were kicked out. If they were just stuplified after given the whole story, perhaps that is another.

Or perhaps the scenario played out because another friend's parents caught them with drugs and they decided to shift the blame to you, rather than reveal where they really got it. So an extra one in this case, because it would involve real drug addiction.

The purpose of this thread is how to recognize when he is attacking us and how to walk in victory...
This forum is a very good example of the principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness doing their assigned tasks....the number one is creating discord and strife among brethren and another is wolf in sheeps clothing sharing false doctrine and teachings.

But if you don't recognize it is him and his demons behind it then you get caught up in the strife.

Satan is everywhere where Jesus isn't. Jesus told Satan to get behind him, and as it is good to follow Jesus I often say in time of trouble, "In the name of Jesus, get thee behind me Satan."

@Heart2Soul : Why can't we as humans get caught up in our own minds that if we need to be right and the other person needs to be wrong ~ As human beings we will do whatever it takes to cause strife, and fighting against each other all for the sake of who is right, and who is wrong?

Is it the devil telling the person ~ You gotta be strifing and fighting, you gotta spit on that persons face, you gotta do this or you gotta do that

Or is the person whom is in darkness who has yet to see the light ~ Walking by their own actions, by their own thoughts, by their own ways?

Those are my two questions.

Am in total agreement that all credit in praise to God : because of a human being and change that is made from God by the indwelling of the holy spirit and the person is being renewed in their heart and mind by God ~ Yes praise be to God and the Lord Jesus Christ may they always receive glory rather than us men, yet them instead.

~ This is the choice of man who is darkness -> they are changed by God and the Lord Jesus Christ if the man who is in darkness seeks for the light. (Jesus Christ is the light of all mankind according to scriptures.)

Mostly I hope to help you how to take back the peace and joy from living a life of freedom in Christ.

I think the Holy Spirit seals us from possession and the influence of devils. Sure we still get tried, but we have the spirit with us.

Pride, gossiping, backbiting, lying, strife, division, witchcraft, oppression, envy, compromise, lukewarm faith,
Anger and bitterness, unforgiveness, depression, death, fear, disobedience..
And idolatry.

And the list goes on...
Now let me explain...not all were operating fully at that moment...some were waiting their turn from the after effect and the damage it caused....

So this is how cunning and devisive the enemy is in our lives....
My friends who were forced to witness and partake in it developed guilt, shame, and condemnation from it...
Joe and I never spoke again and he became severely depressed and suicidal.
I became angry and bitter and let unforgiveness stay in my heart.. .
And even towards God...I couldn't understand how He could let that happen to me when all my life I remained faithful to him...
A few years later after attending another church the same false accusing spirit attacked me in that church...I left when a board member told me the pastor had a meeting about kicking me out but she stood up for me and let them know those were lies and none of what they were told was true....well I still took it hard and left the church and as I drove away I said to God..."if you don't want me in your church then fine...I will serve anyone but you!"

Now brothers and sisters this is some serious demonic attacks going on and I was so immature in the knowledge of the Word that I was as defenseless as a newborn babe...I had no spiritual armor on, knew zero scriptures on this matter, and didn't even acknowledge the works of evil spirits...to me it was the people and the so called Christians who pretended to love me...and those who were pastering and teaching me...pffft....
That is when I lost all trust in churches.

I became a spiritual warrior years later after God delivered me from all that mess and the demons with it...even alcohol and drugs entered my life for a short time....the world became my coping mechanism....

Scripture says we do not strive against flesh and blood...
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Take it to heart...you have probably suffered attacks in your life and you never considered there was an evil spirit behind it....well here is something to pray about...were the any spirits waiting on the sideline to attack after the damage was done? Are they still tormenting you?

Absolutely...without faith it is impossible to please the Lord or even walk in the authority of His Name.
