Show me when I EVER said "my spirit cannot sin".
That was something you said.
Like I said, you're confused.
That was why I had to address that fallacy by explaining sin is spiritual slavery, thusthere's no such thing as a sin that only your body commits but your spirit doesn't commit.

"His Spirit" is NOT your spirit, not even "the new creation". The Holy Spirit is not a creature (that is, the Spirit cannot be what "new creation" refers to)--the Holy Spirit is GOD.
So when you said "we have a dual nature--old nature loves sinning but the new nature cannot sin"--that "new nature" is NOT the Holy Spirit!
This is why I'm saying you mean well, and you're coming from a good place, but you're completely mixed up! You get everything tangled up!
If one reads scriptures he will have knowledge of what the true Christian is like. And one such knowledge is that he have faith that comes from God that abides and continues to the end. And that is what I believe. So that, any one who claims to be a Christian who does not have such faith could not be a true Christian.
And the idea that a true Christian could stop believing is not compatible with such truth.

If you put forth what “ YOU” did and didn’t do.....in other words, your Performance ( AKA “Self Righteousness” ) come Judgement Day .....as opposed to Worshipping the One with the PERFECT PERFORMANCE that could have Saved you had you put your. Faith in Him instead of yourself, you are going to be among this that hear, “ Depart From me— I Never knew you” ......you got Christianity back- asswards....you are in Serious Jeopardy.....

I don’t find that to be a mistake. For all true believers abides and continues to the end. Jesus told those Jews who believed Him that of they abide in His words, they are indeed His disciples. Else, they are not true believers.

We have no word if those who have fallen back to the law for justification later realized their error and have been brought back to the truth.
Also, if at all they stayed in their fallen state, it only shows that they were not true believers. For if they were, they would have remained and continued in the faith.

Well, I never really got to consider what is life before I knew Christ. I was just living my life ignorant of enslavement of sin and resting in God.

The Jews were "saved" by the blood of the lamb... and still fell under God's wrath for sinning.
That happened to them as an example to us 1 Corinthians 10--if we don't learn we also will fall under God's wrath.
Well, Jesus (I know He's only the Savior but hear me out) says adultery of the heart makes you worthy of hell fire in Matthew 5. He never mentioned stepping on a worm. In fact He ate lamb.
1. My "performance" is by God's grace through faith in Him. "By my God, I can run upon a troop." You say you need grace... but you're really talking about mercy : you need mercy because you plan on sinning. I want grace to KEEP me from sinning. It's not within my ability, it's within God's ability--"yet not I but the grace with me". Grace isn't "in vain" in my life, it produces "fruit in keeping with repentance". "A good tree bears good fruit".
2. On judgment day, only doers of the Law will be justified and repaid with eternal life Romans 2:6-16 and Galatians 6:6-10.
3. It is faith in Him that gives me the strength to live righteously. If you don't live righteously you don't really have faith in Him. The exact OPPOSITE of what you're contorting the Matthew 7 verse about false prophets to say : Jesus will say "get away from Me, WORKERS OF INIQUITY". See? Jesus will say "UNRIGHTEOUS PEOPLE I DON'T KNOW YOU!" That is where He disavows people who used to be in the Book of Life so they're blotted out as we are warned about in Revelation 3.
As I've said, you (and everyone like you) are completely confused. I think you mean well, but you've got everything inverted and upside down. Good night.

Hitler murdered Six Million Jews....that is far worse than viewing porn, yet Poor Adolph is in Hell as we speak NOT for his Murders.He is Hell tonight for one reason , just as all of Hell’s Denizens are— UNBELIEF......Neither Porn nor murder nor any other sin sends people to Hell—— it’s the Rejection Of God's Remedy for Sin that sends people to Hell.....A lifetime Rejection Of The Gospel ....a Refusal to “ Turn to God ( Repentance) with Faith in Jesus Christ” is what sends people to Hell.Jesus took care of the Sin Issue 2000 years ago....He did the Work.....ALL OF IT .....its us up to Us to “ cash in” on what Jesus accomplished by Himself.....Hitler’s Sins were paid for at the Cross.....his mistake was not “ cashing in” on what had already been done for him.....
Porn Viewers? All they have to do is Turn to God as a Lost Sinner like the Sinful Publican did , saying with a Contrite Heart, “Lord, have Mercy on me a Sinner” ......That Prayer got an evil Tax Collector Saved—- it will work for Porn Viewers also.....

Yet Paul says "do not even eat with someone who claims to be a believer but lives in immorality". I do not befriend Christians who watch porn except perhaps as a ministry to reach out to make them turn away from their sin.

Yes, a porn viewer can repent... but after they are "saved" from their sin, then they had better not go back to the sin!

The believing is one that abides and continues. It not as though I believe just for today but only until today, and I already am saved because of that.
Some Jews in Jesus’ day believed in Him. But Jesus defined and described faith. He said to them, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.” That is clear and indisputable.

Only believers prophesy in Jesus' Name, cast out demons in Jesus' Name and do wonders in Jesus' Name. These were believers!
