People have voluntarily been chipped and for years so that new implant tech could be studied.

Did you read the article...the palm is not chipped , it is by recognition, like your thump print on your phone. Everyone’s palm is different and it’s linked to info that is linked to your debit card.

So your comment underneath your picture is not really linked to the story you have posted.

Your comment under the picture talks about implants, the article is not about implants ....it was just an observation. It just came across as talking about two different things........with no other comments in your post I presumed you were making a connection between them.
Sorry if you felt it was a critism and in some way you felt I was seeking you out to find fault......which I wasn’t. Your thread just came up in the list of ‘ new posts ‘
I tend to read a few posts while I am having my morning cuppa before getting read for work.
My opinion on the article is seeing a natural progression of what has been happening for some considerable time. Phones, iPads have used facial and thumb print recognition for years.....it’s not a surprise that it would develop.
Does it bother me, I believe that big brother has been watching us since the development of the smart phones , iPads, internet ......

I have been following Elon Musk, I have always been amazed that he doesn’t come up much within Christian forums. He wants to place chips in the brain that will heal all kinds of things. I have felt for some time that this would make him a ‘ kind of miracle worker ‘ ...these implants would be able to program the brain ....I heard about this some years ago..........

I cannot stop the advancement of technology, it’s out of my hands. We all use it.......the way in which it is being used to control and gain info started a long time ago, very gradually..........I tend to trust in The Lords unfolding plan, so many seem to spend their time concentrating on what man and Satan are endeavouring to do, there is being obsessed and being aware ,two different things.

My son and I have often debated this aspect of technology... on the one hand it would be amazing if the blind could see, the disabled could walk, the deaf hear ect ect , that’s the good side of what he is developing and the motives for that are not negative. However it’s where it could lead that is the downside. I don’t see evil in all technology , our lives have been improved by it all. It’s how people use it that is a dividing issue.
My son, would not get the chip .....because of where it would lead.
Have you ever watched ‘ Black Mirror ‘ on Netflix, I have only watched one episode, he has watched the all. How things could turnout, the consequences and choices, are very thought provoking to consider ....especially the episodes that centre around face book, social media and technology.

I don't have netflix. I barely watch tv. I am on the internet a lot though, maybe I can find it on Pluto.tv

So far in history we see where man's imaginations lead..

It wasn't the building of the tower, so much as the ultimate goal to reach heaven and be god.
But by Noah's days.. it wasn't just a city, it was worldwide evil.

I have to reverse that.. Noah come first and God destroyed all except Noah and family.
From Noah's descendents came Babel.
And it began again..

Maybe we've had this technology before and we're right back at the end again.
After all, there is no new thing under the sun.
