It is impossible for man to save himself . BUT GOD has made a way for man to be saved .
HIS NAME is the GLORIOUS WONDEROUS MAGNIFICENT BISHOP HIGH PRIEST ANCHOR OF OUR SOULS JESUS CHRIST THE RIGHTEOUS KING .
Thus let all who name the name of JESUS , arise and praise the glorious LORD .
What then must one do to be saved .................BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST . CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD
and YE SHALL BE SAVED . Let all that draws breath PRAISE THE GLORIOUS LORD .

"And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible." Mark 10:27

"Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." Matt 5:48
"Wherefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Christ, let us press on unto perfection; not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God," Heb 6:1

Let us overcome the world as Jesus overcame the world!

"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. To him that overcometh, to him will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God." Rev 2:7

No. He told parables but that's different from actually lying as it was speaking figuratively instead of literally.
Even so sister! Jesus did not lie!

However the question was directed @Christophany who said God could not sin. This being the case what happens to the first verse I quoted in Post #1? Mark 10:27.

Yeah I know He didn't lie but I felt that it was alright to answer it because lying and sinning go together and Jesus never did either. Of course, I always wonder if He always knew better because if He lied before He knew better than I don't count that as sinning if He didn't always know it was wrong. You only sin when you know right from wrong so I've always been a bit fuzzy when it comes to did He always know, or did He have to be taught the difference between right and wrong like every other child before He could choose to do right?

What did Jesus understand better than the doctors when he was only 12 years old?

"And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers" Luke 46-47

And his mother, Mary, also did not understand... and she knew about the miracle of his birth:

"And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?
And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.
And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart." Luke 2:48-54

At 12 years old already about his Father's business. Mary, his mother, meant, Joseph, her husband, when she said "father", but Jesus meant God! In spite of his already astonishing knowledge, he subjected himself to them, that is to Mary and Joseph. It was not yet time for Him to really do the work which he was sent to do... He had to live an example. Can we live as such an example?

But Jesus was growing, increasing... hmmm?

"And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man." Luke 2:52

And then consider those unbelieving men sent to bring Jesus to those conspiring again Him: The chief priests and Pharisees. They knew the scriptures, but did they know God?

"Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him?
The officers answered, Never man spake like this man. John 7:45-46

Was John, writing these words, talking about Jesus when he said, Word?

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." John 1:14

And then there is this promise:

"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.? I John 3:2

Is that speaking of you and me as the ones who are to be like Him?

True,.. but I was speaking of when He was two, three, and four years old not twelve. Of course I already know for a fact that He was tantrum free.

It is impossible for God to be a liar.
Yes, because to lie would be to invite death and God cannot die, can He?

What is a lie to God? Is it not different than what most men would describe?

Why was Rahab the harlot of Jericho [Joshua ] listed in Hebrews 11 for her faith? Was she not a liar? What about what John under God's anointing wrote about liars?

"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Rev 21:8

Is there anything we do not yet understand about God and His ways?

What do we know about Jesus when he was that age? Don't speculate! We were not there and what does the Bible say of it?
When did Jesus become the Word of God?
When was the Word of God made flesh?
When did Jesus overcome the world?
Why did Jesus never sin even though he was tempted as we are?

Don't try to give me the answer to all of those questions. Rather simply consider them yourself. Do we have to know all of those answers in order to love God?

Did Jesus lie about what ?
Mark 10:27 quoted in the OP and your statement that God cannot sin?
Can the Father sin ? yes or no
A simple, yea or nay? What would my simple answer mean?

Consider the question Jesus asked the chief priests and elders here:

"The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? Matt 21:25

Jesus could have answered them directly but understanding their hearts he would not indulge them. The correct answer is known to Jesus and to God. Jesus was tempted and did not sin! God could not be tempted although men have tried to tempt Him.

"Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:" James 1:13

"Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God." Matt 4:7

"For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin." Heb 4:15
