can you say me it
"Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal." Rom 11:3-4

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Acts 1:8

For me, there is a big difference between aloneness and solitude.
Aloneness is being kept apart from others (usually through segregation and abandonment).
Solitude is choosing to be apart from others.
I am a hermit which thrives on solitude.

Psalm 121 shows that though in human terms we may be alone, yet if the Lord is with us, preserving us, then this is what really counts.

Fellowship is important, of course, (John's First Epistle, chapter 1).

Great quotes there from Romans 11 and Acts 1. :)

PS: Think of John on Patmos Isle, with such a vision of glory and things to come! :)
