Told spiritually to not eat meat.

I am no expert in the Bible. But i know this spiritual contact well. He/she is the highest i guess. God, Holy Spirit, Love.

I am thankful for my food. There is no greater love than to lay down ones life for another to live - and it is the same, what I give thanks for, you refrain from, showing them the same love.

Mankind was given authority by God to rule over all created livestock an wild animals etc. People are just too sentimental about animals today. it's a sign of weakness. And yes I have had some lovely pets, both cats and dogs and have loved them and cared for them and missed them when the

Mankind having authority over others doesn't mean those others have no will. Do you not have an husband, with authority over you? Does your city have no mayor? Does that make you mindless and worthless?

God calls all animals "nephesh chayyah" in Hebrew throughout Genesis. Living soul. Go, now; go look it up and see if I am not telling you the truth!

Humans are not different than them in that regard. We are all souls. We all have the same breath of life. We all have bodies of dust and return to dust.

How good it is that we aren't under compulsion to keep passover, that our Lamb has already been sacrificed, and we do eat Him for life.
Can you imagine the conundrum we'd have if we had to force CG70 to eat lamb?

But we have Romans 14, too, so is he right - is someone whose spirit is moved to eat only plants necessarily being taught by demons? Because Romans 14 sure seems to indicate they may be doing it for God's sake

No, not necessarily. I think a person can also have that conviction apart from the influence of a demonic spirit.

May I ask what you mean by 'spiritual contact'? What sort of spiritual contact it's important to only listen to the right sort of spiritual contacts - those filled with the Holy Spirit - all others are not from God.

It is difficult to know identity if there is such a thing. We have communicated in different ways. We even met once in real life. He/she used a physical persons body. I did see some light though. Also i have heard his/her voice from above. And once he/she opened my heart center. Then it feels like a huge lamp or fire in there. So i guess it means God or Holy Spirit.

Hey there everyone. Recently i was told i should tell others to not eat meat. Perhaps as a way to pay for my past sins.

To me it is really simple.
God does not command us to kill as far as i know. And we have no way of knowing if some parts of the Bible has been manipulated to trick us into doing evil.

Also i would be surprised if God does not see a huge difference in eating meat for survival and just doing it for something as incredibly selfish as taste.

It means it is far riskier to eat meat than not to.

I will defend your choice, with scripture.
But I encourage you not to judge others who don't agree.

I think you're communicating with a demonic spirit. I'm of the firm conviction that God will not command you to not eat meat. I'm also convinced he'll let you make the choice not to eat it on your own if that's what you want.

My point is that because we are free to abstain from meat it is certainly not right to jump to the conclusion that a person is led by demons just because their conscience leads them to refrain from meat.

Maybe you have another reason, but vegetarianism is insufficient on its own to condemn. IMO it's commendable just as having the faith that no food condemns you is commendable.

In the resurrection it will be like it was at the beginning. We will not eat meat. So how can anyone say rejecting BBQ ribs is demonic?

Did you read what the Bible said? A seducing spirit is a lying spirit. A doctrine of devils is a teaching of demons. How much clearer do you want it? That was a lying spirit that urged this person to stop eating meat.
