Mystery Babylon is the mystery of iniquity (2 Thess 2:7): the mystery of them that preach in the name of Jesus, but are not helpers of our joy for Jesus' sake, but are dominators of our faith for their own sake:

Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your for by faith ye stand. (2 Cor 1:24)

Them that are called Israel by birth is both after the flesh and after the Spirit: There are they that call themselves Israel born after the flesh, and there are thay that God calls Israel after the Spirit, but not all they that be called of Israel by birth, whether after the flesh or after the Spirit, are all Israel of God. (Rom 9:6)

As all they that were all broken off at the cross, being born after the flesh, so are they in part broken off at the resurrection, that are born after the Spirit.

There are two prophecies of condemnation: First, for all they born after the flesh, and next, for many of them born after the Spirit.

Part of the reason Israel after the flesh was all broken off, was so that the uncircumcised might come in, and the reason part of them grafted in are broken off, is that all Israel might be saved: All that are called Israel, are Israel.

The Green Olive Tree of the God of Israel and the Vine of Christ will one day be perfectly pruned, with no unbelieving uncircumcised of heart and dead branches left hanging.

That time will be the first resurrection of the just in the likeness of Christ, immediately after the last great tribulation of man upon saints on earth.

True. However, the ministry of Christ is referred to in allegory as a city and mother:

Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. (Gal 4)

Hagar is now the mother and ministry of the Jews Religion, where they still read Moses of old on their false Sabbaths, and cling to Moses' law of old, trying to keep an old and decayed corpse alive, in a city they call holy, but is no longer, because the God of Israel is no longer there, nor His temple.

Mystery Babylon the Great is the ministerial mother of all harlot ministries, that preach another gospel of their own making, which is not another, for that of Jesus and the cross.

The woman of Rev 12 is the New Jerusalem in motherly form, who gave birth to the man-child Jesus, who is the firstborn of many firstborn men-children in Christ. Immediately upon birth they rise to sit in heavenly places, while the dragon pursues, tempts, deceives, and finally persecutes them on earth in their natural bodies.

He hates them so much, because he is cast down to earth at their birth, when they have forsaken his kingdom of darkness to be translated into that of the living Son of God. They no longer worship and obey him in their sins and trespasses: he is no longer prince and power of the air to them that believe and obey Jesus only.

In this manner every saint in Christ, who has ever been saint in Christ, has gone through their own great tribulation, since they all through much tribulation must enter the kingdom of God (Acts 14:22).

Revelation is not just a book of teachings for the Church of Christ, that ends with Chapter 4, and then continues as a bunch of detached end-times prophecies for some future generation of so-called 'Jews'. After all, why would the first beast rise up to attack his own in the Jews religion? He rises to attack Christians, which are the only saints of God in natural bodies on earth (Rev 13:7), which is the natural body of Christ on earth.

It is the next beast and false prophet of false ministry, that preaches the last false christ on earth to all the world, with demand that all the earth obey his 'risen beast', that was once alive in Christ, and became dead again in sins, and then went on to false ministry in Jesus' name, as a son of perdition like Judas, who didn't just walk away with the rest that were offended at Jesus Word and blood (John 6), but stayed walking with Jesus and His apostles in hypocrisy, threats, and false accusation.

If we are going to forsake the Lord and His doctrine for whatever cause, it is best with God that we simply walk away, rather than hang around like millstones on the necks of His little children, teaching our own commandments and traditions for His doctrine and law. That is when we become an antichrist beast roaring at believers to repent of the doctrine of Christ and believe ourselves as God, which is exactly what that last man of sin and antichrist will do sitting as God in Jerusalem, gathering together all false religions of the earth under his rule.

Only the fallen elect can deceive the elect, even as fallen Lucifer deceived a third of the angels. A true antichrist is one that destroys the body from above, as a false head instead of Jesus over the body. He makes fire to come down from above, because he is above them all as head and 'Pastor the Great'.

Mystery Babylon is the seat and city of a false christ, an antichrist, a beast to dominate and devour the saints (2 Cor 1:24), that was once a helper in the believers' joy, but became a destroyer for personal power over the believers as God Himself, profiting himself at the expense of the believers: a great merchandiser of souls by way of false ministry of Christ (Rev 18:13):

The mystery of iniquity is the mystery of how he that was once good for God's people, becomes no good and then destructive to God's people, and the mystery is why and how:

Why, is by offense against the first rule of ministry: only preach Scripture, not our own things we love to live by as Scripture (2 Peter 1:19-21), which is to become lovers of our own selves more than lovers of God and His people.

How, is by going on to preach our own minds as mind of Christ (Num 16:28), to no longer be ambassadors in Christ's stead, but rather to become head over the body instead of Christ.

The love of money is the root of all evil, but the love of personal power over others as God, where their every word is received, believed, and obeyed as proceeding out of the mouth of God, is far greater than mere money:

And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies...

And far more intoxicating than mere wine:

With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

The one faith certainly is not perfect Rob (sorry for calling you Bob, although you never corrected me) but babylon is not referring to those among us who are phony, really the opposite, although now that I think about it I actually believe that it would include them. but in the context used it is not really referring to them as those of babylon some of them are actually Christians, as Jehovah warned them to get out of her my people! if they did not want to receive some of it's plagues. I see mystery babylon as 'founder' of his own organization of churches. He trains and raises up the 'leadership' to build churches for himself. The beast is the organization upon which he sits and profits from, including the members of that body and group.

I see the organization being fed up with doing all the work, when he gets all the profit, so certain leaders rise up 1 hour of power with the beast, to fight against the founding head.

Splintering groups one after another, much like denominations today, that split from old, when they were fed up with the first Babylon over the people: Catholic pope.

In the end, the beast itself goes to perdition, because the dragon has successfully corrupted the people that remain to the uttermost from the top, which is after the elect see the errors and depart.

When you deal with satans organization/system/world; you will see it categorized into one of three areas; religious, governmental, or commercial. babylon the harlot is the religious part of satans organization, Jehovah has prophesied that He will use the governmental part of satans system to crush that harlot sir. That will be a very interesting prophecy to see fulfilled. We are really shaping up for it now as much of the population is fed up with religion because of the problems that come from it. I would imagine that is not too far into the future. Some believe that only those who were predestined will make it to heaven, while others do not.
Some believe that some were predestined for hell, while others do not.
Some believe in a woman’s right to choose abortion, while others do not.
Some believe that practicing homosexuality is a sin, while others do not.
Most believe in contraception, while others do not – and the list goes on.

These are ALL based on the personal interpretations of the FOUNDERS of each Protestant sect.

Regardless of the organization, the intangible congregation of God are those who are born again of the Spirit. We are spread out through tens of thousands of denominations and are with the Father, in the Spirit, by the Son. This, to me, is not a mystery. :)

Peter never ministered in Rome nor to Romans in Rome: Paul did. Being ignorant of Scripture only, you are blind, and your religion uses Peter's name for the same destructive effect in which you use Jesus' name.

There have been many antichrists, and they all use the name of Jesus for effect, but do not confess Him from the heart. They are false christ, prophets, apostles, teachers, etc... that deceive the sheep who hear the name of Jesus and believe, but do not see for themselves is the doctrine accompanying His name is Scripture or not.

Sola Scriptura" - that "degrading" term was coined by LUTHER and his minions - NOT the Catholic Church.

The first I ever heard of Sola Scriptura was from Catholics that declare their traditions of fathers was just as equally important and inspired as Scripture of God.

And so, Sola Scriptura must have been Luther's defense against Catholic dominion and endlessly erring papism, which was then degraded and condemned as heresy. The proof that the Catholic religion is just as false as the Jews religion today, is that they would condemn as heresy Scripture only: believing Scripture written by inspiration of God is the only authority for things of God, and do not include traditions and commandments of men.

You would crucify Christ afresh, if He came in the flesh to Rome to rebuke the Catholics, even as He came in the flesh to Judea to rebuke the Jews.

And as for Believing in "Scripture only" - that is NEVER even hinted at in the Bible - so where do you get that from?

Scripture only means what is says: only Scripture can prove what are the things of God, and whether interpretations, teachings, doctrine, law, commandment, etc... are from God or from men, that they falsely preach them as from God.

That man of sin is one that sits in his own pulpit as the throne of God, preaching his own things, not Scripture, for things of God, and is therefore believed as God Himself.

When any one preaches other than Scripture, that is plainly written by God and read by all to believe, and any believe it as from God, then they are believing that false preacher as God, whereby his own word from his own mind is believed as words that proceed from the mouth of God.

As an ignorantly zealous Catholic believer in the Catholic religion, being ignorantly of the faith of Jesus by given by Scripture only, you are also therefore ignorant as well of seeing Jesus only as the true Christ, and hearing His voice only as the true Shepherd of His sheep.

You are of another fold of another christ that eats up the false bread and grain of another gospel, and believing Scripture only is anathema to you, your pope, your religion, and especially your dead and gone fathers, who will not rise again with the saints in the first resurrection.

Not if they are like what they made of you.

The brightness you have is that of an angel of light, which light in you id darkness indeed.

Regardless of the organization, the intangible congregation of God are those who are born again of the Spirit. We are spread out through tens of thousands of denominations and are with the Father, in the Spirit, by the Son. This, to me, is not a mystery. :)

No. That is understood. The mystery is how the divisions occurred, and how many are deceived by ministers they trust, but do not verify by Scripture.

Divisions occur simply by preaching for doctrine of Christ, what is not Scripture, but their own mind.

Deception occurs when they are believed for doctrine of Christ, and His Headship is usurped by false ministers.

The mystery also is why are there false ministers. Many and most do so ignorantly and are not become false christs to themselves. Those who have gone on so far into false ministry, that they have no excuse with God and are all cast into the same bed of Jezebel, with their loyal followers.

The errors are simple to see, when tested by what is written vs what is ministered. The mystery is when the ignorant errors become purposed deceptions: for profit and power. The power to be believed as God by the words of one's own mouth is the pride and fall of Lucifer.

The mystery will come to an end, when God calls all His elect to depart from such false ministries and be resurrected unto Himself, leaving only the fallen ministries and deceived believers behind with their own dragon full of wrath on earth, knowing that his time is short, before the Lord with His resurrected saints come in clouds out of the air to do finale battle on earth at Armageddon.
