Let's be clear. I am not rejecting Scripture as the true and reliable words of God.
I reject Sola Scriptura as a doctrine that says scripture is the only source of the words of God.
Scripture doesn't say it is.
Nowhere does scripture teach sola scriptura.
Nowhere did Jesus teach sola scriptura.
And we know you are only yanking chains here, because you don't bother responding to proofs of Scripture offered.
You also know you are being Sola Scriptura when demanding Scripture to prove anything about God and the Bible.
Since the Bible is only a
true and reliable source, then the Bible is not the only source, and so the Bible is not necessary for any other source to be true.
A true rejector of sola Scriptura is one who quotes from any book as basis for belief and judgment in things of God and of life, whether it be the Bible, Koran, Buddhist manuscripts, philosophies, etc...
Therefore, your demand to prove Sola Scriptura by Scripture is meaningless, because you don't need Scripture to reject it, and no doubt have abundance of books and materials elsewhere that agree with you.
You are just peeved by someone like me that concludes people such are yourself are foolish pertaining to the things of God, when you have no Scripture for them.
The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God.
The foolish have said in their hearts, there is no Sola Scriptura.
