I'm not upset or mad at you... I just don't TRUST statistics... of ANY kind from ANY one... therefore I stay away from the debates... I made the mistake of stating this fact at the beginning of the thread... therefore legally placing me in the debate.
In all honesty @Cristo Rei ... at this time... in this atmosphere... in this political climate... I am SO GRATEFUL that I have completely pulled out of the race.... Instead of listening to the news... or reading statistics... I walk to the beach... or take my beautiful red beach chair and I talk to God... about ALL kinds of things.... I see a huge wave coming in ... and I get all excited.... and tell HIM... DO it again!!! LOL
My life has become so simple... so beautiful.. and so rich with JOY and PEACE... the kind of PEACE that surpasses all understanding.
I am labelled as deceived... a danger to society because of my refusal to get vaccinated... I am called unwise... unwoke... Much of these accusations coming from fellow Christians... and within these forums you have so many CHRISTIANS who have suddenly become doctors... specialists... experts... bullies in my opinon.
FROM where I sit... it is not only disturbing... I feel it is dangerous for the Christian... I see all this as a distraction... It keeps people busy and away from focusing on the only thing that matters...which is WHAT GOD IS DOING.... Everyone is shouting about what the government is doing to us.... but WHAT is GOD DOING.... I am discovering that it is AMAZING and WONDERFUL.

From one who has actual military experience in that area- There is a strong body of hard evidence that supports this premise.

Regarding the "military"...
Their "allegience", has always been God and Country.
Allegience to Country, WITH Gods help.
That is also "changing", under fraudulent rep sitters.
Attempts are being fostered to ... weaken the US military, by separating Godly believers.
Removing them from "appointed" leadership positions...discouraging from highest ranking, to lowest inductees...resulting in they either HIDE their Godly beliefs...or be systematically separated, removed from military service.
From your experience and observation...

I'm retired but still keep a finger on numerous pulses.
I clearly see the attempt being made- that's unquestionable and some progress regrettably has been made but the left is still a long way from "controlling" the US military in terms of their ideology and there is much push back.
No one would have accepted such absurd demands in 2019... How quickly the world changed
I have a long family history of military personal...ranging in ranks ...current participants of of lower ranks, and get their perspective, of the cunning undertone of God exclusion. Being of lower rank, they ignore, keep their prayers, worship and bible less visible, and do their assigned tasks.
The movie, Hacksaw Ridge, setting WWII, saw, no big deal of a Godly believer, UNTIL that belief, Was marched onto a Battlefield ABOVE a Weapon of a Gun for Defense.
Appears...the "obvious" beatings, even "another movies" with "coded" orders to beat soldiers viewed as "too Godly"... (as a threat to the units well being)... is nothing new...simply being a new Acceptance "openly".
Agree...push back...however, aggressively, or by ignoring....threats and persecution... WILL NOT CHANGE the HEART of a person committed to and IN Christ.

COVID is driving a lot of people into a mental health crisis.
I did listen to part of this video.... and I live in Ontario where this woman is from... We are now out of quarantine and all stores are open.
We are still operating under mask mandates... ( masks to be worn in public buildings )... and businesses are still following distancing protocols.
I found this report to be an alarmist view... a dramatic take on what was asked of us as citizens to do.
I think truly the problem with all the conflicting views is that EVERYONE and their DOG is allowed to have an opinion and verbalize it.
Honestly... this woman who posted this video is the go-to-girl for conspiracy theories... Just saying... she is from the WOKE crowd.
Anyways... I was not able to tolerate or digest much of what she had to say... as she is ONE opinion in CANADA... The media seems to decide who they elevate to level of "worthy to be heard".
AGENDA's aside.... NO one knows exactly what covid is... but it is killing people... somehow... politics took this fact and instead of dealing with a medical crisis... the political powers and media decided to have a hay day.
Is it any wonder that someone like me just SHUTS the curtains and IGNORES it all??? Everyone has suddenly become an expert at world affairs... and the Christians seem no better than the secular world in my opinion... I don't believe ANYONE... and this makes life so much more bearable. God is still on the throne... and that is all I care about.
As Christians... we are called to live in the good and bad of things... all the while... PRAISING HIS NAME. God is up to something... and HE is the one who has all the knowledge... Man will always lie and mis represent the truth. That is a given. These secret agendas are really NO SECRET... we are warned in the bible that the end of times are near.... People need to start preparing... repenting... and getting their affairs in order. That is my little opinion about all this noise.

What we have here is a failure to communicate. Addy, you are obviously ferreting out the facts from fiction and are not siding with the evil doers. Your problem is that you are like me, you don't want to take another's word for something when you can look into it for yourself. I'm not making any comments, one way or another, on anyone else here. We are to guard our hearts, and that is what you are doing. Kudos to you, sister!
Well... we fixed the mis communication.. and once everything is said and done... I did decide to weigh in on this topic.... I have now performed my CHRISTIAN duty of stating my opinion on the pandemic and lock down measures....
I was on the way to the beach...and just as I was bringing my beach chair outside... IT started to rain... It's all cleared up now... so BEACH... here I come.
