You...you got a problem with that? Lol I'm just being facetious.Who are you posting this to?
None of your God's are worth it for me to put up with the human condition.
Another very true statement.Belief in God is not enough to be sanctified and protected and receive salvation. Even the demons believe and tremble.
When I was a teenager, and not on drugs or into the occult, I woke up to see the gray shadow outline of a figure standing by my bed - just like the shadow of a person, minus the person.
I instinctively pulled the cover over my head and asked God to make it go away.
That was the only time this happened, and I didn’t know until decades after that, that people all over the earth see such shadow figures.
Exactly what a belief does. Religion is not the opium of the masses. Belief is. There are no different effects in your case than a workaholic who gets up early, has their coffee, then goes straight to work. There are many things we do in this life that our brain reward us for, but some people (Maybe many now) buy into a belief to increase their chances for feeling that chemical reward. As for me, I like coffee...and singing to God, because when I do, I enjoy His supernatural presence and the anointing that He's put on me, and this is better than anything this world has to offer.
Why is life painful?You...you got a problem with that? Lol I'm just being facetious.
Life is hard...life is painful...and then you die.
At least it is for me. I'm not alone.
I'm starting to see that I'm trying to describe the light to someone who was born without eyes.Exactly what a belief does. Religion is not the opium of the masses. Belief is. At one point perfection was contaminated. Why is life painful?
Dubunk my opinion with a equally valid argument for your belief, that's all that matters.I'm starting to see that I'm trying to describe the light to someone who was born without eyes.
While that may be true, Christianity is not merely a belief system. Christianity is to be changed in your fundamental nature so that you become related by birth to the Creator.Exactly what a belief does. Religion is not the opium of the masses. Belief is. Actually, the biblical account of creation never tells us that God created the universe in a perfect state. At one point perfection was contaminated.
So it won't be fulfilling, and you won't be content. Why is life painful?
You can still do that without a primary belief system. While that may be true, Christianity is not merely a belief system. Christianity is to be changed in your fundamental nature so that you become related by birth to the Creator.
Much love!
You can't do that. God does that. You don't birth yourself. You can still do that without a primary belief system.
Because I used to believe, I didn't really know then what I know now.Why would anyone waste anytime with Christianity if it wasn't real? I wouldn't.
