Adam didn't take the fruit from the tree, or talk to the serpent. Eve did, then passed her primary belief to Adam.

Adam ate from the tree, and when Adam ate, Man died.

And you have ZERO idea of Adam's beliefs.

Much love!

I would say it is the other way around. That beliefs arise from our lack of understanding of the facts.

But this makes no sense chronologically.
1. People witness a fact which cannot be explained
2. A belief arises
3. The belief continues.

Think about for a moment how science wants to make us believe WITHOUT any prior facts that the universe came from nothing or that a multiverse exist. Or that we live in a simulation in a supercomputer.
That’s 100% belief because they don’t want to use the word “God” and they have no way of verifying such claims. They can literally make anything up to explain it just to rob all the attributes which we would call a God who is super powerful.

Take a look at this article too when you have some time.
Why Science Does Not Disprove God
Here’s an interesting piece from that article.

We know that 13.7 billion years ago, a gargantuan burst of energy, whose nature and source are completely unknown to us and not in the least understood by science, initiated the creation of our universe. Then suddenly, as if by magic, the “God particle”—the Higgs boson discovered two years ago inside CERN’s powerful particle accelerator, the Large Hadron Collider—came into being and miraculously gave the universe its mass. Why did this happen? The mass constituted elementary particles—the quarks and the electron—whose weights and electrical charges had to fall within immeasurably tight bounds for what would happen next. For from within the primeval soup of elementary particles that constituted the young universe, again as if by a magic hand, all the quarks suddenly bunched in threes to form protons and neutrons, their electrical charges set precisely to the exact level needed to attract and capture the electrons, which then began to circle nuclei made of the protons and neutrons. All of the masses, charges and forces of interaction in the universe had to be in just the precisely needed amounts so that early light atoms could form. Larger ones would then be cooked in nuclear fires inside stars, giving us carbon, iron, nitrogen, oxygen and all the other elements that are so essential for life to emerge. And eventually, the highly complicated double-helix molecule, the life-propagating DNA, would be formed.

I've come to a conclusion about you. I mean this in it's purest sense...you are an ignorant man.
When it comes to spiritual realities, you don't know what you are talking about.
And you don't seem to be willing to consider the possibility that there is something beyond you blindness.
Just being honest.
You seem to be saying that if you are not aware of it, then it doesn't exist. Sucks to be you.
Do you believe that the earth is flat?

You will find that underneath the layers of a addicts behaviour is a particular belief system that fuels that behaviour. Once the damages of the addiction itself reaches critical mass, they have to change what they are doing or suffer irreversible consequences. So they swap their current belief to -> (Insert belief escape hatch here)
When you talk about "belief system", that includes things like "believing that you are to eat", believing that "an aspirin helps a headache", stuff like that? Not just, Who is God?

Much love!

I think people blame God for their problems ie: addiction. It is our sin nature. It is our fault for disobeying God. It is what it is. Man cannot fix this problem no matter how he tries.

I believe the original poster believes in God whether he admits it or not. That’s is why he is here. Blaming God but deceiving himself he says he is blaming believers. Order doesn’t come from chaos. This is a world with an incurable disease. It needs to be burned and replanted. God helps people with addictions and he can help you too.

Humanism: thoughts and ideas that originate in the mind of man.
They go on and on and on and on...and on and on...
Much like this conversation.
I had a dream a few year's ago where I was running after my daughter through a twisted rooming house, desperately trying to catch up so we could talk. Running through this dim maze of hallways, rooms and stairs I kept yelling out to her to listen. At times she began to stop waiting for me to catch up, but her friends were also in this rooming house with her. I couldn't ignore any of them because if I did she'd begin running again. Eventually I did catch up to her, but even then I still couldn't get out what I really wanted to say.

Then I woke up.

Friend, you really need to repent. You know as well as I do that there are two kingdoms.
We are all born into the kingdom of this world. It's up to us whether we stay in it.

Everyone believes God exists. Some have gotten pretty good at hiding that truth from themself.

Much love!

Why does it suck to be me? I know exactly what I hate about me, I am far tougher on me than I have ever been on anyone else.

You sound just like me. When God showed me His love for me, it started my self-forgiveness.
I've been in pain for 21 years...and I did it to myself. When the bitterness of my life burns through my chest, I remember the things He's shown me. I've been with Him in the future, to where I'm going. I had what they call a near-death experience. It's crazy the things that have happened to me. If not for Him, I'd be in a rubber room somewhere. I'm serious. This is my song ...
I am on the road...to my home...in the New Jerusalem!
There's be no more death, no more mourning, no more crying...or pain!
I was standing on a street in the New Jerusalem; I was looking into Jesus' eyes, as He was looking into mine.
He's taller than I thought He'd be, He was looking down at me, in His eyes I could see, His love for me, as He was smiling at me!
He loves us more than we could ever know! I'm glad you're here. :)

I live with the pain of my past, it has shaped me into the man I am today. I don't try to wish it away, or expect something to wave it's magic wand, and make it disappear. I have found that people use beliefs as a quick fix for what they don't know, but far too many people stay in the comfort of their beliefs never seeing the colours of life.

You know, I try to be nice, but you just won't let me. See you on the judgement day, Billy.

Is there any person here who's in Brisbane, Australia. I just left a motel and I am back on the streets until next week, would be nice if somebody could assist me with a few important items.

How are you being nice? You haven't done anything except reinforced the idea of how doomed I am without the Jesus you believe in.

Everything is cool, me was assisted by the Baptist Church in Nundah.
