Christianity is not a changed life. Change only came by; an exchange. You cannot get that fixed in your mind enough..because we want to live for God and be a blessing and so..you will do that BUT not by change; only exchange can bring that. Adam loves to be caressed, Adam loves the limelight. What is that; sin Satan nature. Believers nolonger have that sinning nature from the beginning; but that is what you grew up with..and trained by. What kind of training do you recieve from the sin nature as a child and until the time of an exchange in nature (born again - old man out..new man in). Who is the old man..who is the new man? You have to be able to answer that question to move on in God. The nature will train, or will tell you..you are no good and it is all you that does these things. It is a lieing sinning rebel murdering spirit from the beginning..scripture says. Read it - it is written as plain as day. Look at what scripture says about the nature you had. He is the sinner from the beginning - not you. Satan is the lier from the beginning and the father of lies from the beginning..not you. Sin is what drives the unregenerate human being ..not them. Where do we come in as a human beings? We partake or partook of that sin..sinning..rebel..sin nature..that entered in through Adam; the ONE man scripture calls him, Romans 5. Just as we psrtake now of the Devine nature; but it was not you..no more than you being Christ. We have Christ in us but we are not him..he is his own person..and so it was in Satan..in sin. It was him and still is him to those that are not born again.
Seems hard to understand for people but it is written and it is written in very plain black and white english. We can usually do nothing with that because we have the tendency to glean right over what it is the lord has allowed in scripture so we can know! and go to what we can understand. If we can trust the HolySpirit he will teach you about that sinning nature..your father the devil; as was spoken! As much as you need to understand the new creature and joined unto the Lord one spirit..you need to understand what drove you before Christ!
What is it we don't understand..what is it that does not settle with man..what is it that keeps a believer in the dark trying to find their way..what is that. The old sinning nature that trained the mind.
