For whatever reason it sounds like you have a nice warm fireplace going, Christmas stockings hanging on the wall, Christmas tree up in October and the Nativity scene up.

And some maple syrup on pancakes on the coffee table with a nice hot cuppa tea or coffee.

OH my goodness... I still have NOT left.... I had to go upstairs and cuddle the dog... He is not impressed that there is a new puppy in the house.... yeah right... a puppy... the size of a calf.... Anyways.... I was about to leave... and I hear a voice telling me... check the mail box... and what do I find..... 3 potatoes.... sitting at the bottom of the mailbox as if they have been WAITING for me to find them... a gift from my landlords.. via their teeny little garden.... So... YEAH.... I'm really LEAVING........................ NOW..... see you later tater....

The leaves are all green here still. But acorns dropping like crazy.
I don’t want winter, even though it’s mild compared to that crazy place where addy and Truman live where they call bacon what is not bacon but is rather a thin slice of ham.
I’m going to make a bacon and tomato sandwich for breakfast. With real bacon.
With potato chips.
Because I can.
Doing laundry today. The best part is folding it because that’s when I solve all the worlds problems.

I don't know, but His presence is in our midst right now...I can feel Him. Through His love, we'll bring in others. That will make Him smile!

Look, I'll eat just about anything. Fruitcake is low on my list. I'll eat it if I'm desperate. You actually like it? I didn't think that was possible! Oh well...I guess wonders will never cease! Lol

When I was growing up living in my mother's home she made from scratch one of those things toward the end of every year for the holidays. She liked them, but I always hated them. Since our marriage in 1972 I've never had one in my home. My wife agrees with me and she is one fantastic cook but there are some things she will not make: fruitcake is one!
