@TLHKAJ have you ever tried ACV for fleas? dog brought some in.

Usually i use over the counter medicine, but I hate the idea of putting poison on my cats.

I just watched a lady put some on her dogs neck and i may try it.

used coffee grounds did work but a mess, and raw Baltic amber collars are expensive.
No, actually. But I'd think it would work. Just be careful around the eyes.

I actually heard recently that Shaklee Basic-H (household) is a good animal dewormer and I bet it would work for fleas. I watch a lot of homestead/gardening/farming/off-grid stuff and I saw two videos talking about this when I was researching natural dewormers. Lol

I'm thinking to get myself stalked back up on their stuff .

This is what the other pups looked like. None of them got spots. All her previous litters got spots around the 2nd week or so.
I gave them all to good homes.

The first one is Honey who I originally wanted to keep. View attachment 19352
I didn't name any of the rest. They all went to good homes.

This one was a boy .....almost identical to the girl I kept. He had more white on his toes.
View attachment 19353
The next two were boys. The first one...the orange one ....was the biggest and fattest. lol
The light beige one was one of the smallest and timid. He was best buddies with his biggest brother and they actually went to the same family. A man came and took the big guy home. They liked him so much, they came and got the little beige one. :)
(And none of them were actually "big" ...they were all weinies. Lol)

I hope this is okay, @FluffyYellowDuck ...not trying to derail your thread.
I am enjoying the pictures and ah! SO CUTE! :D

Yep, ACV is great for UTI! I usually add lemon juice to it as well ....great for the kidneys, especially for UTI and dissolving kidney stones.

Did a full write up on that dream we were discussing on another thread a few weeks ago, Fluffy. I thought you and TLH might be somewhat interested as you've both already developed some homemaking skills (making due with what you have, that is) that could come in handy if the dream and its interpretation prove to be accurate.

I don't think I read that, but very interesting because I prayed for it and also because i know something related about it that might spark a thought for you. I just have to remember how it went.

will try to get back on tonight

I did the ACV on all 5 cats- only a little scratched, and now I have to make dinner, but i will come back after the kids baths/beds and so on.

Yes. She's 7 years old now. She just had her 4th litter of puppies. That's what happens when you obey the leash law, but 50% of your neighborhood/town does not. (rant)
So she had 5 dachshund mix puppies. We kept one and my son is planning to get her fixed soon!

Here is the pup I kept....a little girl named "Missy."

@lilygrace, I didn't get to keep Honey. She was the one everyone wanted. I decided to keep this one, which my middle daughter wanted and wasn't able to take home (bc they already have 2 dogs and a baby learning to walk, lol).

on january fifth she turns eight . I remember the first litter pepsi had .

There is a happy daschound daddy strutting about . The white on the toes comes from the heeler side .
Her first litter looked much more heeler . Their daddy or one of the daddys was a bigger boy .

The daddy is one of the neighbor's dachshunds. He looks a lot like this.

Just an update for anyone who was curious - I've been keeping an eye on the ACV thing for the cats.

First day didn't see any real change and didn't expect to, but I've checked about every day since and no fleas.

The dog had not been treated yet. So I have no idea how on earth it is working but it is!
