Confusing dilemma

Hello all, its been a while. So i have a question about a dear friend of 20 yrs of mine. This person doesnt know im asking this, and although it may sound bad, first thing’s first, i do not believe this person is saved.

i have worried about this person greatly the last couple of years, and im wondering if they have any hope. This person had a “selective” surgery which cannot be reversed. The problem from my viewpoint, is that since this surgery cannot be reversed, is repentance even possible for this surgery?

This person has no intentions of doing this, but im really confused about God’s purpose in this situation. I believe everything happens for a reason, either God wanted it to happen, or He merely allowed it to take place. And since God is good, for Him to have allowed my friend to have this surgery, something will come from this that benefits His glory. But i cant figure out what it could be. This surgery has allowed my friend to start a life living in sin. Is it possible that my friend could be one of the “vessels of wrath” mentioned in Romans 9:22?

I believe repentance is always an option. God is always willing to forgivd. SoIt just may be hard for your friend if repentance is desired. Some things like diabetes from becoming obese, cannot be undone. You just have to deal with the consequences. A surgery... Yeh... Definitely consequences in this. I think it is horrible what is being done these days to these young adults.

All sin can be forgiven except one. Pray for him that God will give him his sight and do not expect a blind man to be able to see.
I have more worry for those who say they can see but really can’t than I do for men who can’t yet see. Their fate will be worse.

I don't think we could write everything off. There are certain cases of anatomical problems.

Many years ago, I worked at a children's hospital. and we had a child admitted, let's call her Brenda. Brenda was being admitted to an operation because Brenda was actually a Ben. Sometime these things happen. Some folk are born with both parts, but not initially seen.

I've met a couple of transsexuals. One was a guest speaker at my Psych class in college. Another was a member on the forum I was on previously. And one of my wife's friends is a woman who for a while was having a lesbian affair with a transexual woman. (Which is a little on the weird side, even for me.) The common thread was that these human beings believe they were women's souls trapped in men's bodies (or men's souls trapped in women's bodies). Who can say if that is correct or not? Do souls have penises and vaginas? Can you peek under those white robes and tell?

Just tell them about Jesus being their savior. God can clean them up on His own time.

With man, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.

A big part of why this is a problem is if you were born a man, but you feel like that was a mistake, you’re basically saying God made a mistake with you in the womb.

In all fairness, people are born with all sorts of conditions. My friend in high school was a girl who had parts from both sexes. Those she was raised a girl, hormonally, she was also masculine. Hormones have a lot to do with how you think and feel, and she was very conflicted, both physically and mentally/emotionally.

But this does not mean we are not to live holy and righteous lives. We follow God even if we have problems.

Well, this person was born normally as a man, no extra bits. And they said its a “feeling” that they arent who they were meant to be. Personally i dont get it, could it be a mental health issue?? Im sure in this case it is.

I think there is hope for this person. These tents are temporary. This life is temporary. You never know. If the persons seeks and find God it will all be ok.

There are many people coming out now who got "the change" and came to regret it deeply afterward. They came to God and began speaking publicly about their experiences and telling those who are headed down the same path that it is a huge mistake.

They believe wholeheartedly that they were made correctly by God when they were born (not addressing hermaphroditism) and that "the change" actually made things much more difficult for them. In the Bible, it is said that those who make the conscious decision to completely deny all sexual activity for their faith will be given a special blessing by the Lord.

"... blessed is the eunuch, ... for unto him shall be given the special gift of faith, and an inheritance in the temple of the Lord ..."
Wisdom of Solomon 3:14

" ... thus saith the Lord unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please Me, and take hold of My covenant; ... unto them will I give in Mine house and within My walls a place and a name better than of sons and daughters: I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off."

"... there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it."

So if somebody is so conflicted about their sexuality as to feel they need to have permanent surgery to feel right, it might just be a good idea to deny oneself the luxury of intercourse and commit their lives to God instead. They will possibly save themselves a world of confusion and difficulty, not to mention being damned to destruction for their lifestyle of living in habitual sin. We live in a world today that insists that we must all be overtly sexual or we are not human. That is a lie of the devil. Going completely without is not that difficult.

There is a very real possibility that your friend may turn out to join the ever-increasing groups of people who are called to God after their "change" to give their testimony to save many from making the same soul-shattering mistake.

My midwife told me that in cases like that which she delivered a couple ....you have to get genetic testing bc the genes will tell if the baby is male or female.

In many (even the majority) of cases, there has been some level of abuse that caused the confusion. I have seen this a lot in survivors of severe trauma.

I believe it is more of a spiritual issue. The enemy wants nothing more than to corrupt every creation and intention of God. Men should be made to act and live like women, and vice versa. That pleases the enemy greatly. Also, man is made in the image of God so what better insult than to corrupt the ways of a man.

The spirit realm can influence us all at times and with all the agenda that is in Hollywood and even now the public school systems to support these concepts and lifestyles, many children are very confused.

A very good friend of mine's son believed that he was bisexual at just around 12 years old. I told him that he was probably too young to be sure just yet and now he's in high school with a steady girlfriend and living normally. Is he conflicted? It's certainly possible in this day and age, but I believe many young people have been absolutely bombarded with these ideas in cartoons and movies all their lives. Add to that the ever-strengthening spiritual influences in this fallen world and it's no wonder our societies are experiencing such sexual confusion these days.

As for the resurrection body...

Jesus said to them, “The sons of this age marry and the women are given in marriage, but those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; for they cannot even die anymore, for they are like angels, and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection. (Luke 20:34-36)

So, in the age to come, there will be no marriage and no need for reproduction. Will we need genitalia? Or is gender more than genitalia?
