We don't disagree about apostolic succession. What we disagree with is the Catholic church's claim that they are that apostolic succession. We have tested them and found them lacking:

"...you have tested and exposed as liars those who falsely claim to be apostles." Revelation 2:2​

See, you aren't allowed to test those who claim to be apostles. How can you? You have been told by them that they can make whatever changes they want to make and declare any teachings they want to. That leaves you with no standard by which to test them because you have blindly accepted their (supposed) authority to do whatever they want. How can you say they can't do this, or do that? They told you that you have to trust them because God has given them a blank check to do whatever they want and to go against them is to go against Christ himself. You're in a cult.

What power does Christ have?
What mission / ministry does Christ have?

Peter, the apostles and their successors have the same authority, power, and mission! Jn 20:21 as my father sent me, even so send I you!

Jesus Christ continues HIS ministry in His new covenant church thru Peter, the apostles, and their successors with the same mission, power, and authority!

Yes Saul persecuted men and woman, “unconverted” believers, before Saul became Converted.

Acts 22:

The keys in my view is the gospel.

It was given not just to Peter., but to all. Even to us. as we are told to go and make disciples.
