The development of apostasy and you are in boots and all!
The development of apostasy and you are in boots and all!

Acts 2:42 doctrine of the apostles not the Bible alone

Try these
Mt 16:18 Mt 28:19 Matt 18:17 Acts 1:17 acts 8:31 & 35 acts 9:4 Lk 10:16 Jn 8:32 Jn 13:20 Jn 15:5 Jn 16:13 Jn 20:21-22 eph 2:20 acts 2:42 1 Tim 3:15

apostolic tradition
Teaching authority of Christ in his church

fundamentalism is darkness!

Christ is the light of the world!

this light extends to His holy church

Dan 2: 44 And in the days of these kings (Roman Caesars) shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Isaiah 2:2
And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

Micah 4:1
But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

Lk 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Matthew 5:14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

  • What kind of "facts" that are missing on a Sunday morning are your referring to?
  • What kind of "facts" of the RCC are better than the missing facts of the Protestant pulpits?
  • Have you been to a fundamentalist church to know this or is it your observations from TV evangelists?
  • What kinds of "fantasy" does the "fundamentalist preacher "bellow out" that you are concerned about?
Why do you think the Reformation took place?

there never was a reformation!

it was a rebellion against Christ and his church!

the church is built by Christ on the apostles eph 2:20 none of the so called reformers were apostles

they did not reform anything
The started new churches with new doctrine

all public revelation was complete with the apostle John so there new doctrine is error

The truth revealed by Christ is immutable!
Unchangeable!
The church found by Christ and prepared out of heaven by God is Ir-reformable!

fundamentalism is darkness!

Christ is the light!

(even the original 16th century Protestants did not espouse you’re fundamentalist bellowing, that came later in the 19th century)

I will still let those commentators (who are NOT PRETERISTS) speak for themselves! I will not say that it is not the church nor will I say that "the church gave birth to Christ." I do not care what preterism is because I don't believe that the New Testament teaches preterism. I believe the "true church of Christ" began in the garden of Eden as the symbolism of "the tree of life" that kept growing and will continue to grow along with Jews and Gentiles as one body.

A repost of 10 Rev 12:1 Commentators who agree that "the woman = the church"

Ellicott's Commentary for English Readers
It is the picture of the bride, the Church.
Benson Commentary
“St. John resumes his subject from the beginning, and represents the church (Revelation 12:1-2) as a woman, and a mother bearing children unto Christ.
Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary
12:1-6 The church, under the emblem of a woman, the mother of believers, was seen by the apostle in vision, in heaven. She was clothed with the sun, justified, sanctified, and shining by union with Christ, the Sun of Righteousness.
Barnes' Notes on the Bible
The woman, beyond all question, represents the church.
Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary
1. This episode (Re 12:1-15:8) describes in detail the persecution of Israel and the elect Church by the beast, which had been summarily noticed....As new Jerusalem (called also "the woman," or "wife," Re 21:2, 9-12), with its twelve gates, is the exalted and transfigured Church, so the woman with the twelve stars is the Church militant. Revelation 12:1,2 A woman clothed with the sun travaileth,
Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible
...and the church apostolical is here called "a woman", because the church was not now in its infancy,
Geneva Study Bible
Of which two the beginning of the Church is described in this chapter, and the progress of it in the chapter following.
Meyer's NT Commentary
Whether and in what way the Church is to be understood by the woman, cannot be inferred until the close of the entire vision,[3022] since the particular points of the text condition the meaning of the whole. The emblematic description (περιβεβλημένη
Pulpit Commentary
The woman, the Church, though on earth, is nevertheless, by virtue of her union with Christ, in heaven." A woman. The woman is undoubtedly the Church of God;
Vincent's Word Studies
The symbol is usually taken to represent the Church.δώδεκα) represents the woman who is just about bearing, Revelation 12:2, in a heavenly brilliancy reminding us of the manifestation of Christ[3023] and of God.[3024]

I'll be impressed when you deny the perpetual virginity of Mary, prayers to Mary, the assumption of Mary and the RCC.

the four dogmas about Mary are incontrovertible truths revealed by Christ and taught by his church!

absolute truth!

the immaculate conception of Mary in her mothers womb, first moment of her creation without sin!

mother of God!

Perpetual virginity of Mary!

assumption of Mary into heaven body and soul and glorified by God as queen of heaven and earth!

misunderstandings and accusations are not truth revealed by christ
Exactly and you are among those who misunderstand. And have you ever received the baptism of the Holy Spirit where you become immersed in Him?

YES we KNOW WHAT YOU BELIEVE ABOUT MARY....BUT IT IS HERESY! Therefore, why should I be asking questions from someone that distorts scripture?

there is no baptism of the Holy Spirit

Only the Christian sacraments of baptism in the father, son, and holy spirit and confirmation!

So you must be calling us liars.

Just try it. Say Father forgive my sin and give my life to Jesus, please fill me and baptise me with you Holy Spirit.

the church always believed and always taught these truths even the original Protestants did not deny them but only the fundamentalists beginning in the 19th century and the “burned over district!

fundamentalism is darkness
Christ is the light!

fundamentalism is spiritual blindness
Christ reveals the truth!

there is no baptism of the Holy Spirit
That only reveal how little you know scripture!

Mar 1:8...I have baptized you with water; but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit."

Act 1:5...for John baptized with water, but before many days you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit."

Act 11:16...And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, 'John baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.'

It seems, like many, he only hears that which the CC wants him to hear. I just wish he had the gumption to search the scriptures for himself, instead of like the JWs, only accepting what is put before him by the church hierarchy. We have given him enough pointers in the right direction.
