First off, we are all going to hell in someone's eyes.

Honestly to me the whole idea of heaven and hell is like the carrot and the stick. I cannot wrap my mind around how one could consider themselves to be 'saved without them looking down on anyone else who doesn't believe what they believe. Heaven and hell are two sides of the same coin. There really is no heaven or hell, there is just the coin. I think God is a lot like that, just what is. Unconditional love/freedom. All that truly is, is the here and now. Whether I'm on earth, Mars, heaven, or hell, I am always just 'here'.

Hell exists for people that treat their brothers in evil ways, and to them that deny aid to the needy, and to them that deny Jesus. It exists. Heaven is full of the people that learned to be good brothers and sisters in Christ. That is sort of my belief.

The truth is that some cults use hell and their own doctrine to say, if you leave our church, the "true church" you will go to hell. That is an invention of a church. That does not mean hell does not exist.

BTW, I watched the video and it is fairly incorrect in doctrine and with some correct doctrine perhaps you can learn something from it, like what I stated in my last post, but it might steer away new Christians with its false doctrine.

Unfortunately this is the prevalent view.....all because there is a distorted view of Jesus.
Men have made God in their own image!

Boy, that preacher must have missed or forgotten this scripture (along with others):

“If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.” (Luke 14:26)

Since you believe in what you believe, then you must also believe in objective morality. You said, "Hell exists for people that treat their brothers in evil ways, and to them that deny aid to the needy, and to them that deny Jesus." What I consider good, could be considered evil by someone else.

You cannot honestly call yourself a "Christian" and believe this rubbish. But if that is what you believe then identify yourself properly.

Christians bash other Christains because some Christians believe they are true Christians. Some Christian protestant told me denomination doesn't matter and so I then said, "Ok, then Mormons are also Christians." He quickly objected.

They can't even get on the same page

Well if God is infinite, then why wouldn't the infinite include everything into itself as itself? He's omnipresent therefore he's in hell too. Christians think those in Hell are separated from God but if God is everywhere...

I'm not sure what you're implying however what is clear from the record we have is that the Jesus event was extraordinary.....for the sole purpose of revealing God. One can however take that information and distort it either because one misses the point or one has nefarious designs.

It’s not in the Bible.

That is all I need to know.

The Bible has many contradictions in it. Jesus is God and God knows everything right?

"But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father." Mark 13:32

So the Son doesn't know and yet the Son is God and God knows everything. People will accuse me I take it out of context before they also take it out of context themselves to prove me wrong.

Do you know that the Catholics and Protestants both think the other is a heretic? I'm telling you, we are all going to hell in someone's eyes.

God’s nature, words, and works were manifested in Christ. The Bible never says point blank “Jesus is God”. And I’m not a trinitarian so you’re assuming wrong here.

You don't consider me to be a Christian, correct? Well other Christians don't consider you to be a Christisn either because you're not a trinitarian. You see how that works? I don't even have to be someone who doesn't proclaim they are Christian like you do, yet other Christians will think you aren't one. They will think -you- aren't reading the Bible correctly because their version is superior and oh so true.

It’s hyperbolic to say “many”.

But God can do whatever he wants.

He created YOU you know…

You would risk suffering eternal damnation because your small carnal brain can’t get over a few “contradictions” in the holy word from an all-knowing God?

I believe in God because I believe in myself.

Look at your last point, "You would risk suffering eternal damnation..."

And you want to tell me Christianity is not fear based? It's clear that deep down it's rooted in fear. You cannot be a fundamentalist Christian without believing in Hell. I just wish more people can be honest and admit that they follow the Bible because they don't want to go to hell.

"No no, it's about Jesus and love." Of course it is, you better listen to him so you don't face eternal damnation.
